It has very nice features, and feels like a full-fledged programming environment. I am also happy to see that this app is not abandonware, as you can see the developer recently updated the app, and is actively making improvements. Keep at it, you’re doing a great job! It’s nice to be banging out some code while away from my computer. It seemed like it had been abandoned, I’m so glad it wasn’t! Old review:Unless it's updated, this app will not work at all anymore when iOS 11 releases this fall (or now for beta users!) this is the one 32 bit app I will most hate to lose when I update (and I have more than 600 apps). Won't print results iPhone 6s Plus iOS 10.1.1 ### 3/5 — iOS11 Alternatives *2017-12-16, version 3.5.9* Many of us have been eagerly awaiting this awesome app to be updated for iOS11 but to no avail. I found two others that I just discovered and am testing. One is "MCXi BASIC" and the other is "BASIC Let's Code". Neither shows up if you enter BASIC in the App Store search field, but they show up if I type FORTRAN in the search field. Don't ask me why... I don't know either! One caveat is that it's not free. One is a buck, the other is two bucks. Last copyright was 2019 — it is now May 2021. The app is completely useless now. This app brings back a lot of memories of sitting at night just coding up anything I could think about. This app is about as good as it gets for coding on IPad or IPhone. I use it one both. I got into computers and programming as soon as home computers arose. As slow as these programs ran, amazed at how fast and accurate the results were. Windows introduced object oriented operation adding more confusion etc, so I stuck with top-down C language. Computer processors grew and Basic fell into the dust, unable to run in the 32 and 64 bit processors. How nice to find this quality Basic package, I often run into mathematical projects. I could use a spread sheet, but for small or simple projects, this could be inconvenient. This Misoft Basic fills this need and conveniently runs on my iPad. Kudos to the developers. ### 5/5 — Blast from the past *2022-03-02, version 3.8.2* This little program is wonderful it reminds me of the early 80s when I had hair and great fun writing small programs and some large ones, I used basic to teach my daughter the time, mathematics etc and now I am going try to do the same with my grandson’s.
