Very easy to use, suggests one fingering for chord and - MOST importantly - shows you alternate fingerings for the same chord down the side. Beautifully laid out, much faster to find the chord you want than any other app I've seen. Includes dim7, aug, sus2 and sus4 as well as 6/9 b5 #5 and 9 chords so goes way beyond "basic" chords as far as I'm concerned! Love this app. Together with my metronome app this is one of the MOST used apps on my phone. Highly recommended.

Just opened Basichords on my iPhone…and discovered a banner of iAd had taken over my favorite app.  Images of crap Lego games , Clash of Titans, and Google are flashing in my face.  I loved it—but if they’re gonna pull this, I am GONE.

É meu grande companheiro, para estudo e prática é uma excelente ferramenta, porem poderia possuir mais acordes dissonantes.
Se incluir mais acordes vai ficar perfeito.
O som dos acordes deixou de funcionar, mas ainda sim é excelente

I own quite a few chord apps, but I always seem to come back to this one. The keyboard and layout makes it super fast to find the desired chord or inversion.

Thank you for making a great app that shows different inversions of all chords. The fact that it isn't just for ukulele but mandolin, guitar, banjo & even bouzouki as well, shows that you guys really know your stuff!! Thanks again!

I have always used this for uke, but I recently have been learning to play guitar. Unfortunately, the app crashes when I try to switch instruments. I can still use it for uke, but it will not work for guitar or any of the other instruments. Tap to switch=instant crash. ☹️

I purchased this app specifically for ukulele chords, and until now it has worked flawlessly!  What happened????  When I opened the app during a uke jam today, it was set for guitar chords and did not have any other instrments available!!!  

Please give me back my uke chords!

It's great but really badly needs bass chords. If it did it would be absolutely great. I know people looking for an app like this but it needs bass. 
Next update, add BASS GUITAR!!!!!¡¡¡
Please just do it then I'll give a five star.

I downloaded this app a couple of years ago and love its simple clean interface especially when I’m looking for some weird chord voicing. I use it all the time. The link to the paid version doesn’t work and I don’t think it prompted me to pay for the ad free version so thought it was fallow unsupported app and was dreading the day it finally broke with an iOS update. 

 Anyway I was just upgrading an iPad and clicked on the developer to find there is a paid version, which I couldn’t buy for fast enough. There is no option to review the paid app so I’m leave this one here. 

 I appreciate the app so much and have used for years. I would happily give it six stars if I could and would have paid twice the price now know how useful it is to me. 

My only one little gripe if you Devs read this; there has to be Fsus2 open voicing and alternate odd open chords is usually what I use this app most for. You also might wanna fix that link or put some upgrades prompts in. 

Thanks again for a great simple app with a fantastic UI!

I love this app, using it for Ukulele chords.
It would be so good if it had the Baritone Ukulele chords as well.
I have not found a good app for Baritone chords yet.

I’ve been using this app forever!  I use it regularly to figure out how to play chords in alternate locations along the neck!  Great if you’re trying to get away from the open (cowboy) chords. I use it mostly for ukulele but have also used it for guitar and banjo.

Super appli, je mets jamais de notes ni de commentaires, mais quand je vois la qualité de cette appli et qu’elle est noyée dans une masse d’applis pourries je me sens obligé! 2 ans que je m’en sers pour toutes mes tabs des que je vois un accord chelou, ou alors pour transposer rapidement des accords au ukulele ou au piano... un vrai bijoux! Et gratuit et sans pub en plus... Merci!
