## What is Basil Mobile?

Basil is an extension of the Basil Bookstore Software POS system. It is designed to be a valuable companion to the core product. It allows users to search their inventory real-time and see current and historic sales information using it's reporting features. It's incredibly intuitive and performant. It can be used for a single store or a chain of stores with single or multiple users.

Highlighting when the user is performing a sales transaction.

### 1.0.6.4 — 2025-05-15

Fixed some coloring issues in various parts of the screen. Added the ability to send an email or text receipt when the sale is being finished. The email and phone number can come from a selected customer or it can be entered on the finalization screen.

### 1.0.5.5 — 2025-05-07

This version fixes an issue with credit card process for Global Payments. It also attempts to improve the images shown for books.

This version is required to work with the latest version of iOS.

### 1.0.3.13 — 2022-01-08

The point of sale capability now includes full integration with the Global Payments processor. If you have an account with Global Payments you can now process credit cards from within the app. We also added stocking availability for products shipped by Ingram, Harper Collins and all of vendors from the products search details screen. Once you verify the stocking information, you can also create a special order directly from the app by choosing the customer, price, etc.
