## What is Basis?

Basis was created by humans, for humans. Every exercise, the design and layout of the app, even the transitions between pages, were intentionally crafted to be pleasant, real, and helpful for the user. Nothing flashy, nothing overwhelming. All helpful.

The main function of basis is the exercises that are found on the main page. Each exercise has been crafted to bring a sense of peace, regulation, and safety to the participant by inviting them to slow down and come into the here-and-now. This is done by joining the natural neurological signals that are constantly happening in the body and mind. These exercises, once reserved for those that could pay the excessive costs, are now available without limit for less than 1% of the original cost. Because everyone deserves to experience regulation.

As an added feature, lockdowns are a powerful tool that can be used for both individual and collective phone lockdowns. After voluntarily and individually selecting the apps and websites to block, a lobby is created that can be joined by friends or family members to lockdown together. Solo lockdowns are also an option to keep yourself dialed in and focused. The original intent was to offer resources to groups of people wanting to lockdown while out for dinner or studying, but the applications are endless.

You don’t have to face the stress of life alone.

Come back to reality with us at basis.
