Just Updated to 2.0.2 Today,
Looks Good, except I can't see the new "Prod. Month" section, otherwise everything works great 😀

=earlier=

2.0.1 Now functioning perfectly, Thanks so much 🤩

—earlier—
1.5.2 was fine, but the last 2 don’t seem to be working , health is n/A. Cycle Count is 0, everything else says n/A.

Can you tell me what changes or improvements have been made. Many apps nowadays update just to add advertisements to the app. Up to this point it’s been perfect.

**Developer response:** Hello,

Thank you very much for your feedback. Please don't worry, I will never implement advertising in my apps. BAST is free and will remain so.
I am constantly updating the app so that it works smoothly with the latest iOS versions and features.
I am currently preparing version 2.0. It will have a completely redesigned UI and will be much more user-friendly.
If you would like to test the new version in advance, please contact me at info@codx-studio.com

### 5/5 — Excellent Battery Info Utility

*2025-05-08*

Uses the iDevice analytics logging to give accuracy info.

### 5/5 — Changes ❓

*2025-05-04*

I’m kind of scared to update. Can you tell me what changes or improvements have been made. Many apps nowadays update just to add advertisements to the app. Up to this point it’s been perfect. So I’m wondering what changes you’ve made. Is it still free of advertisements and subscriptions? Please be honest. Thanks in advance.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2025-02-11, version 1.5.1*

Fills the gap for the lacking battery health feature on iPads

### 5/5 — Best battery checker

*2025-02-09*

Works great and is easy to use. I use it to check every new battery install and older questionable battery life. This app is a must if you install an aftermarket battery to make sure you have a good battery.

### 5/5 — Best

*2025-02-05*

What are the best apps I tried it on my iPad and then I tried it on my iPhone just to make sure if the app was telling me correct and I tried it for two consecutive days. The app tells you correct battery life and it’s super simple to use no ads no sign up and the major thing is it’s free

### 5/5 — Exactly What I Was Looking For

*2025-01-05*

This app saved me hours of headache trying to read through the log file on a new-to-me 2018 iPad Pro! All I wanted to know was my current battery health and how many charge cycles were on the device. This app provided those answers beautifully and with no ads/hassles. Whoever developed this: Thank you!

### 5/5 — Very Handy!

*2025-01-01*

I found this app easy to use. It gave me just what I needed!

### 5/5 — very useful

*2024-11-14, version 1.5.1*

its good

### 5/5 — It works

*2024-11-03*

This app gives me the battery health and cycle count of my M1 iPad Pro. Just launch the app and follow the simple directions. Works flawlessly. Simple and easy.

### 5/5 — Very useful utility

*2024-11-02*

Makes it easy to check battery longevity.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Nope.

*2026-06-29, version 2.1.6*

Tasks you to import a file that does not exist.

### 1/5 — This app wants an analytics file that does not exist

*2026-06-09, version 2.1.6*

Title.

### 1/5 — Do not install under any circumstances

*2026-05-21, version 2.1.6*

For some unexplained reason this app locks the Privacy/Analysis file that is used to interrogate variable values used to calculate battery capacity. This happens even after the app is subsequently closed and the device restarted.
To solve the issue I deleted the app as soon as this issue was identified and strongly advise that you don’t install it until the developer explains why this happens.

Also, an incorrect variable is used so the battery capacity result is wrong.

### 1/5 — No “analytics” file

*2025-05-29, version 2.0.2*

Didn’t work for me

### 1/5 — Awful

*2025-03-12, version 1.5.1*

It was asking to do something to proceed to the app

### 1/5 — Useless

*2024-05-13, version 1.4.1*

Download, ran it. Couldn’t not figure how to use it. So I uninstalled it. Doesn’t show up in my iPad’s settings.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t do anything

*2023-11-07, version 1.3*

I just get a screen with some text and an import button that doesn’t seem to do anything. That’s it?
Is the malware???

### 1/5 — Can’t read analytics log file

*2023-08-23*

I have tried for days and for every log file I import, it says that the file does not contain all battery information. The iPad only writes one per day, so I just keep trying and waiting until the next day with no success.

**Developer response:** Hello,
thanks for your feedback.
Please check out the latest Update. I implemented some major improvements.
Please reach me out at info@fezerapps.com if you’re facing any further issues.

### 3/5 — Jury is out

*2025-09-26, version 2.1.3*

Easy to use, but my confidence in its accuracy was somewhat shaken when it told me my iPad was an iPhone.

### 3/5 — May not work on some models

*2024-10-06, version 1.4.1*

I have an iPad mini gen 5 that I plan to review its battery health, in iOS 17.x. Unfortunately this app would not work:
- the analyst data does not contain battery health stats
- the analyst data is almost impossible to be shared/export to this app. I need to airdrop to an Mac and save/copy it to the iCloud Drive. Then, if an Mac is used, the Mac can read the full stat, without requiring this app.

I would not blame this app for lack of compatibility - Apple, and its lack of features in older OSes, is the root cause for many of the issues.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Oh the file DOES exist but

*2026-08-14*

This app works as advertised but one must jump through the hoops and have the patience to follow the instructions exactly. I got all of the promised data on an iPhone 14 Pro Max and an iPad Pro 4th gen. I very much appreciate the privacy policy and tiny download. 5 stars.

### 5/5 — Does exactly what it says it will do.

*2026-06-05*

Read the analytics file and easily extracted the relevant data.

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2026-05-31*

Just very convenient to use and get good results

### 5/5 — Really useful

*2026-04-03, version 2.1.4*

Great app for those of us without the latest apple devices. Thanks buddy

### 5/5 — Does one thing, and does it well.

*2026-02-10, version 2.1.4*

Best of all, NO DATA COLLECTION!
Thank you for this app.
I appreciate you.

### 5/5 — MacSlim777

*2026-01-12, version 2.1.4*

My iPad Pro was purchased in 2021, iPads don’t have the battery health feature, like the iPhones. This feature was only added into the new iPads introduced in mid 2024.
Bast provides the device name; the current iOS; battery capacity with battery indicator on the left normally black, but if it’s less capacity showing 85% or less it turns red. What impressed me the most is it shows battery charging count which the maximum is 1000, if near that count a message might show battery needs replacing. The 6 steps are easy to follow. The only part that might be difficult is getting the report. When reaching Analytics & Data. Search for the one that starts with the word “analytics.“ Look for the current date; example 2026-01-08 indicating the latest charging date Jan 8, 2026 ending with the word Synced. Tap on that section. A box at the top right with an arrow pointing up appears. Tap on it. You may see 2 of rows of information. The row that starts with the word “AirPlay“ if you’re on iPadOS 26, place your finger on the right side and slide it from right to left till you see the three dots at the end tap them; there you’ll see a column of different apps. Scroll down till you see the app “Bast”; tap on it and the report comes up. Hope that’s helpful!!!

### 5/5 — Information

*2025-11-27*

Useful can see my cycle counts for battery usage

### 5/5 — Honestly doing what it says - thank you

*2025-09-12, version 2.1.2*

Straight forward app that gives you your battery health status - no fuss, no ads, no data collection

### 5/5 — Must have for checking purchase of iPad

*2025-09-08, version 2.1.1*

Buying an iPad off an unknown person, is a scam filled minefield. Seller claim a 2022 (3 yr old) iPad was unused, but the keyboard selling with it was almost junk. Alarms went off for me. The iPad looked great. Download this app, also took pictures. The camera was not great, and the battery info showed no details in BAST, with 0 cycles and no identification.

### 5/5 — Great little app for checking battery health

*2025-08-07*

Very nice app for checking the battery health. Especially helpful for checking battery life cycle of a used iPad.
