## What is Batch Cocktail Calculator?

Batch Pour turns a single-drink cocktail recipe into a party batch — with the exact pour of every ingredient, the dilution water to add up front, a strength read, and a bottle shopping list. No more scaling a Negroni by twenty in your head at the counter.

HOW IT WORKS
- Build a recipe, or load a classic. Add ingredients with an amount (ounces in quarter steps, millilitres, or dashes for bitters) and a type, and Batch Pour fills in a sensible ABV for common spirits, liqueurs, vermouths, and mixers — all editable.
- Say how big. Scale to a number of servings, or pick the vessel you're filling: a 1 L or 1.75 L bottle, a 2 quart pitcher, a 3 L dispenser, a 5 L punch bowl, or a custom size. Batch Pour tells you how many servings fit and whether your batch fits the vessel.
- Get the pour. Every ingredient is listed in millilitres and ounces (and cups for big batches), with a running total.

DILUTION DONE RIGHT A stirred or shaken drink picks up water from melting ice. When you batch ahead, that water has to go in up front. A simple slider adds it for you — stirred-style around 20%, shaken around 25%, over ice around 10%, or none at all — and shows the water as its own pour line.

KNOW THE STRENGTH Batch Pour computes the finished batch's ABV from the volume and proof of everything in it, then tells you how strong each serving actually is in US standard drinks. If a serving crosses two standard drinks, it flags a strong batch so you can pour smaller or dilute more. A plain-language freezer note tells you whether a batch will stay pourable or freeze solid.

SHOPPING LIST See exactly how many bottles of each spirit to buy — at 750 ml, 1 L, or 1.75 L — rounded up, with the leftover shown. Share the whole pour list and shopping list as text straight from the app.

SAVE YOUR PARTIES Keep any batch — recipe, scale, and dilution — and reopen it next time. Everything is stored on your device.

TEN CLASSICS BUILT IN Negroni, Daiquiri, Margarita, Old Fashioned, Manhattan, Whiskey Sour, Gimlet, Cosmopolitan, Paloma, and Aperol Spritz — each a canonical starting spec you can adjust to taste.

HONEST AND PRIVATE One-time purchase. No subscription, no ads, no in-app purchases. Works fully offline and makes no network requests — no account, no tracking, nothing leaves your device.

Batch Pour is a planning tool: it does the arithmetic of what you pour, not a measurement of the finished drink. Always taste as you go, and please serve and enjoy responsibly.
