## What is Batch Cue?

BatchCue is an offline production planner for creators who film multiple short videos in one session.

Enter a session title, creator niche, available filming time, and target clip count. BatchCue builds a setup-sorted run sheet with clip cards, shot lists, hooks, payoffs, gear planning, schedule blocks, and on-device progress tracking.

WHAT BATCHCUE DOES

- Generates batch filming plans for creators and solo teams
- Builds clip cards with hook, angle, payoff, and call-to-action
- Creates setup-sorted shot lists so you film similar camera setups together
- Tracks checked shots and clip completion
- Runs Shoot Mode with current shot, next shot, timer, countdown, and retake marking
- Adds custom shots from the shot bank
- Builds a gear plan by setup
- Builds a timed shooting schedule
- Analyzes coverage gaps for proof shots, B-roll, and cover frames
- Shows batch history and coverage trends
- Exports run sheets as text, Markdown, and PDF
- Includes a teleprompter view for clip scripts
- Adds a new Shoot Risk Brief that forecasts time pressure, coverage risk, retake load, and setup-switch risk before recording starts

BatchCue is private by design. It has no account, no analytics, no tracking, no network code, and no permission prompts. Plans and history stay on the device.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.5 — 2026-07-04

Your run sheet is now fully editable. Tap the new options menu on any shot to change its title, type, setup, or duration, or remove it entirely, and watch the schedule, coverage score, and gear list update instantly. A new Edit Script button on every clip card lets you rewrite the hook, payoff, and close in your own words, and the teleprompter and exports read your edited lines. The 144-prompt Shot Bank is now searchable, so the right cutaway or proof shot is one word away.

### 2.4 — 2026-06-30

**Shoot Risk Brief** — The Plan tab now forecasts time pressure, coverage risk, retake load, and setup-switch risk before you start recording.

**Cleaner pre-shoot decisions** — See estimated shoot minutes, time buffer, a risk score, and specific fixes so the run sheet is stronger before the camera moves.

**Submission polish** — Refreshed screenshots, metadata, and support links now reflect the current BatchCue workflow.

### 2.3 — 2026-06-21

Batch Cue 2.3 — a pro batch-filming upgrade, still fully offline.

• PDF run-sheet export: a printable, paginated plan for your shoot day.
• Gear & prop list: auto-built from your queued shots — tap to pack each item.
• Shooting schedule: timed setup blocks with real clock times and buffers.
• Stripboard reorder: drag your film order; Shoot Mode, schedule, and exports all follow.
• Teleprompter: a full-screen, auto-scrolling delivery script for each clip.
• Coverage trend chart across all your batches.

No account, no network, no tracking — everything stays on your device.

### 2.2 — 2026-06-20

What's New

Version 2.2

- Shot timer - tap the new timer button in Shoot Mode to start a per-shot countdown. A live ring counts down from each shot's planned duration so you know exactly when to call cut. Changes color and pulses at 3 seconds remaining.
- Retake flag - tap Retake instead of Mark Filmed when you know a shot needs another pass. Flagged shots appear with a gold banner in the run sheet and are counted in the session wrap screen. Clear them individually or all at once after filming.
- Time budget bar - see at a glance whether your shot list fits your available time. The Plan and Run Sheet screens now show an estimated shoot time alongside your available minutes, and warn you if the list runs long before you move a single camera.
- Shot durations are now included in plain-text and Markdown run sheet exports.

Still 100% offline. No account, no analytics, no tracking, no permission prompts.

### 2.1 — 2026-06-18

Coverage Score & Gap Finder: a 0-100 on-device read of how shoot-ready your batch is, with a one-tap Fix for every missing proof shot, cutaway, cover frame, and thin setup. Plus reliability fixes.
