## What is Batch Image Processor?

*Storage space is scarce! Batch Image Processor can reduce the memory size of photos and images! Many photos and images can be processed at once, and you can adjust the quality to process images. The quality of the processed images is very good.

*Crop many images at once - if you want to take a number of pixels off of the top (or bottom/left/right) of a batch of images, Batch Image Process makes it easy!

*Resize many images at once.

GIF function - create GIFs extremely quickly and easily! Just select the images you want to use (select them in the order you wish them to play), set the framerate, and tap the "Create GIF" button. Enter a name. Done!

- Thumbnails in the collection view can now be resized - pinch to zoom in/out.
- Added a new way of importing images - an import button to import from the Files App
- You can now convert images to HEIC format, and compress them to save memory.
- When cropping or resizing, you can now choose whether you want the processed images to be PNG, JPG, HEIC, or to keep original format*

*Images will be saved in original format if they are PNG, JPG, or HEIC. If they are another format they will be saved as JPG.

You’ll have to watch the YouTube tutorial to understand it but once you do, it’s a very useful tool to crop large amounts of photos

**Developer response:** Thanks, I’ve tried to make it as intuitive to use as I could, and I wanted to make it all basically one screen with all the different functions, but I know it can be daunting with all the buttons! Feels like I just flushed $2 down the toilet. It’s crashed about 10 times in the first few minutes of trying to use it. When I finally got into it and was able to figure it out, there’s no rotate image in the crop, which is what I needed. Not worth the money.

**Developer response:** Hi I’m sorry you’ve had issues with it crashing. I only have myself for testing and it would be helpful if you could let me know exactly what is happening at the time of the crashing, together with which OS version, and whether it’s iPad or iPhone. 
I can also consider adding a rotation function in a future update… so you want to be able to rotate and crop multiple images?
Please consider emailing me directly from the App, and I will do my best to help.
You can also easily get a refund on your $2 if you really feel it was wasted.

My first review of this app was dismal, but the developer responded promptly to fix the bug that caused my initial problems. Thanks, Jason, for your diligence. I now really enjoy the app and look forward to seeing any tutorial videos or further enhancements you might develop. I plan to use Batch Image Processor whenever I’m working on my iPad.

### 5/5 — Newest Update has Broken the App

This app was great before the latest update, but now I can’t see names or thumbnails of my created files. Also, the export feature isn’t working. Nothing happens when the button is pressed. Please fix so i can change this back to 5 stars.

**Developer response:** Hi, I’m sorry you have these issues, I can’t replicate them... Very rarely thumbnails may fail to appear, pinching the screen in/out makes them reappear. Hopefully this will solve the problem, otherwise I’ll need more information to help me fix it, can you send me some screen shots, and tell me what version of iOS you currently have and is it iPhone or iPad please? Also, the files that are not appearing, what sort of files are they? You can either message me on Facebook - tap the @ button in App on top left side, or email me directly - misterjas@hotmail.com.

### 1/5 — Awful user experience broken app, avoid

The design of this app is absolutely dreadful, very buggy, craps out on landscape mode, cropping doesn’t work, confusing buttons, I would totally redesign the user flow. How apple allowed it to go through review is beyond my reckoning.

Fixed a bug where the wrong size of the image is loaded when long pressing an image to set crop parameters. This would make it appear that the crop function was not working, when it was just taking off a much much smaller amount than expected.

*Improvements in scrolling - I have spent some time improving the smoothness of the scrolling. The main issue was the call to get the size of the images in the camera roll. The size of the image will now only show when the image is tapped.

Advanced GIF Editing - 
*Add text to a GIF.
*Edit the frame order.
*Combine multiple GIFs.
*Add photos/ images to existing GIFs.

Show animated GIFs in the collection view - turn it on / off in the Global Settings. Having many animated GIFs may make scrolling jerky.
