Which is really inconvenient especially since the group message we already had going with important information was deleted. Deleted app. ### 4/5 — Love Batch, Meh Updates *2026-03-08, version 4.2.5* I’ve been using batch to plan parties for years. It is great to find things to do in new cities and get everyone on the same page planning wise. However, the new updates to add events to the itinerary are downgrades. The time and date functionality are consistently resetting and not as predictive and user friendly as they were in older versions of the app. ### 2/5 — Review *2026-02-07, version 4.2.3* Currently trying to plan an international trip but my itinerary is showing all out of order as far as times of reservations and the date sometimes too. But I hardly spent anytime on the app and it’s already crashed 3 times. First time made my phone freeze for minutes. Providing false information and pretty much scamming you of your money. My group had to put down a 140 dollar deposit for hat making and in the statement we were told that each group member will have that 20 dollars put to the hat which was not the case. Batch never refunded and the hat making company said that they didn’t get any deposit from batch so therefore they cannot put our 20 dollars to each out of 7 hats. This app is horrible and I will never use it again. I strongly suggest creating your own itinerary and scheduling through the company itself. This third party app is an incredible disappointment and doesn’t stay true to their word. Don’t end up like me and lose 140 dollars to this awful app. ### 1/5 — Useless *2025-05-26, version 4.0.43* Quite literally useless. Just spend a lil time on ai and from your friends interests. However, if you’re going to a city, like the one that I am planning, that doesn’t have a lot of activities or event events that they have curated for you on their app, the main feature just becomes the itinerary builder. However, having to send everything to my phone when many of the links or addresses or information is on my laptop has been extremely annoying. I wish I could’ve made the events and itinerary on my laptop. On the app, it takes so much longer to be efficient, the app is buggy and doesn’t save properly, and after the last three hours of making a fairly straightforward 2 1/2 day itinerary, my thumbs are sore from typing, and I feel like this could’ve been so much better if I had just gone with a Google doc instead. ### 1/5 — DO NOT BOOK ANY SERVICES THROUGH BATCH *2025-05-11, version 4.0.42* We booked massages through Batch and they failed to provide the service instructions of only female therapists. We ended up having 3 men arrive at our Airbnb and only 1 woman. Batch was hard to reach and they partner with PureKneadMassage, a highly irresponsible and disrespectful vendor. Batch response time is slow and there’s no emergency number. The yoga experience we booked separately also canceled last minute UI is good and helps organize a weekend, but I would recommend booking any experiences/services directly. ### 3/5 — Confusing *2025-05-08, version 4.0.42* Trying to plan my son sweet 16 and this is not the easiest to use ### 4/5 — Is it trustworthy? *2025-05-05, version 4.0.42* I’m not sure about this app. I’m very skeptical about getting scammed and hate when it happens. This app seems very trustworthy but I don’t want to book, go to the event, and have someone tell me that something wasn’t booked. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Super Disappointing *2026-07-08, version 4.4.0* I was pumped to download this app after reading all of the rave reviews, and hearing about it from friends, however, it seems to be basically nonfunctional at this point. There must’ve been an update at some point that changed the functionality. So far we have been - unable to update guest/guest of honor/planner status - had a super glitchy bottom menu bar making it difficult to navigate to payments or adding items to itinerary - had sharing activity ideas And this is before ever trying to share expenses or anything more complicated than getting the party set up. Bummed, as I heard this would be the answer to all of our problems. ### 1/5 — App changes are horrible *2026-05-15, version 4.3.2* I have used the app twice before over the years for different bachelorette parties and it was extremely helpful to be able to coordinate everything in there and be able to message each other. But all these new changes are actually horrible and I won’t be using this app anymore. ### 1/5 — So glitchy *2026-04-27, version 4.3.1* Hadn't even been on the app for a full minute before it started glitching. I was trying to set up custom splitting of a bill and got the error message. It gave me the option to "restart and report" or "restart without reporting" and guess what? The restart and report button didn't even work ### 1/5 — Chat *2026-03-16, version 4.2.5* Lots of great things about this app but the fact that they are taking away the chat options basically eliminates half its purpose. If I wanted multiple text group chats I wouldn’t have downloaded the app to begin with. ### 1/5 — Updates *2026-03-15, version 4.2.5* They keep making horrible updates to the app and just announced they’re removing their chat feature! ### 1/5 — Regret Using This for My Bachelorette Trip *2026-03-14, version 4.2.5* I’m honestly shocked that this app is so highly rated. I chose Batch to plan a very simple bachelorette trip to Palm Springs, and it has been frustrating from the start. One of the biggest issues is the group chat feature. At first, there were no notification options, so messages could easily be missed. Meanwhile, every time I make a small edit to the itinerary, everyone in the group gets notified. The notification priorities make no sense. Now the app is removing the ability to message people entirely. That completely defeats the purpose of a group trip planning app. If I can’t communicate with my group in the same place where the itinerary, expenses, and trip details live, what is the point of using this app at all? It feels like the app is actively removing one of the most basic and necessary features for coordinating a trip. I regret using Batch to plan my bachelorette and wish I had chosen a different platform from the start. ### 1/5 — Trash *2026-03-06, version 4.2.5* Complete trash ### 1/5 — Unnecessary *2026-01-01, version 4.1.8* MOH for a Las Vegas bachelorette party and bride insisted on using this app. There are way too many ads and ‘recommendations’ from the app for places to stay/activities. Even once you create a party, you scroll for one second and the rest is just ads/recommendations despite having everything planned/entered into the app. Because of how the app is organized prioritizing getting people to book things through the app, even once you click on your party, it’s not very well designed/easy to navigate. Email thread + google sheets is a way better and easier way to plan/keep track of things. ### 1/5 — scammers *2025-09-06, version 4.0.50* never paid me the $100 I “won” but posted my video anyways. I messaged three times with no response ### 1/5 — such great scam *2025-08-23, version 4.0.50* i am one of the parents with this app. i wasn’t satisfied the data results come out for my advertise . So I chose to unsubscribe sending the message for the to do so . And then they still charge me for the whole month fee. they told me we need 14 day advance for that. OK fine. I took another a month then. my bill day is 16th of the month. And then they help me to unsubscribe, which is fine. what is not acceptable Is they took my the monthly fee. and also take off my listing so basically they charge me for another whole month for nothing. It’s really great scam. If you want to do the business, please stay away from this company. The organization was amazing and it made everything so easy to keep up with. The polls feature was one of my favorite parts — it made planning simple and fun for everyone involved. It was also a total lifesaver when it came to splitting up money and keeping track of expenses without any confusion. Super user-friendly and made the whole experience so much less stressful.
