Lemme see here, and tell me if I have misunderstood, but to do a find and replace the only option is I have to write it in Regular Expressions?!?  The last time I was using regex was 2004.  Just no.
You should rename this rename app.  I suggest something like “not worth the effort”

Can you add regex support? I want to use the file name that already exists. Say I want to add a prefix to each file (or folder) within a given folder. You could ask for the capture or search group and then the rename group. 

Capture: $0 (or (.*)
Rename: prefix_$1
