### 1/5 — Unable to get rid of account.

*2026-01-24*

I can’t find any audio so far. I tried to delete my account, but it wouldn’t let me. It kept saying that the deletion failed. Then, I tried to get back into the account after swiping out of the app, but it said the email wasn’t confirmed and wouldn’t let me back in. So I tried to make an account with all the exact same information and it let me. Usually if you have an existing account, it will say the email’s already in use. So my question is, do you have my email address without me able to get in to delete it?

**Developer response:** Hi, thank you for flagging this and I'm sorry it was such a frustrating first experience. You were right to be annoyed. Account deletion was genuinely broken back then. It is fixed now. You can delete your account from Settings and it fully removes your data, and the sign in and email confirmation problems you ran into are resolved. Pronunciation audio is in there too. If you ever feel like giving it another go, or anything still trips you up, email me directly at gauthier@batchim.com and I'll sort it personally. Thanks for taking the time to write, it genuinely helped improve the app.
