Cannot access app for sales I want. Customer support is no help since it’s AI and does not understand actual issues. Update - still can’t login, no customer service help was found ### 1/5 — Still haven’t received my refund after almost a week waiting for it *2026-08-10, version 13.0.1* I love bath and body works products but lately I have been getting very frustrated with them because the customer service isn’t that great or helpful. I had ordered a candle holder online and it came damaged so I contacted customer service for a refund. I received the email that said my e-gift was sent and it says down in the corner that I will receive another email with the link for the redemption code for the e-gift card but I never received it. $6 was refunded to my card and I was told the rest which was a $50 e-gift card would be in my email within 72 hrs. Usually I get e-gift cards right away but I had no problem waiting. That was Monday when I was told this, it is now Sunday night and nothing still and I’ve checked my email daily, a few times a day and even my junk/spam. I contacted customer service last night and all she told me is that it was processed and to give it 72 hours. So now it’s another 72 hrs they are telling me to wait after they already told me the 1st time to wait 72hrs and I did but got nothing. I’m starting to feel like they just don’t want to give me my $50 e-gift card which was my money to begin with that I paid for and chose to spend my money with them but received a broken item so that’s on them. I should get my money back. It’s like customer service wants to keep giving the same answers. Tomorrow will make a week, there’s no reason it should take a week to receive an e-gift from them. I won’t be spending anymore money with them until I receive the rest of my money back. ### 1/5 — Login issues *2026-08-09, version 13.0.1* I love this app but I can log in, in recent weeks it only says, ( we couldn't complete your sign-in. Try A again, and if the problem persists, contact customer support. ) I talked to customer service and they only said to change my password I changed it before they told me and still the problem continues I deleted the app and it still says the same, customer service is no helpful. BATH AND BODY please check this problem. I believe I’m not the only one with that problem. ### 1/5 — Lost features and ease of operation w update *2026-08-08, version 13.0.1* **UPDATE 8/8/26 the love-it list has been cleared again (all of my selections are gone) with this update. My rewards show I have nothing and the print coupons are at home on the counter so I can’t get my freebie or discount. It forced me to update before I could use the app (and access the coupons that are now gone). Y’all need a BETA program or people will just have to go analog. * * * I can’t chose favorites, there is no heart on the product page I continually have to tell it I want to pick up in the store I had to look for the place to put the coupon code, it isnt on the payment page like every other APP I’ve being using iterations of this APP for 5+ years. This is the first that’s driven me to write a review, positive or negative. ### 1/5 — Now Takes over Audio *2026-08-08, version 13.0.1* This has become most frustrating app and even the website on Safari will completely take over your audio! So if you’re listening to anything and want to browse the app, it’s impossible! It continues to interrupt if you’re using your phone for a Roku device or YouTube or anything you’re constantly having it take over. It really makes me not want to shop on it at all. I've called customer service multiple times to reset my password more times than I can count and even went into the store to see if someone could help me figure out what was wrong. Unfortunately, nothing has worked. If feels like every time the app gets updated, I run into some kind of issue. The transition after an update has never been smooth but this most recent update has been especially frustrating since it's not letting me in at all. My gift cards disappeared after an update a few months back. Customer service was no help to restore. FORTUNATELY I had taken screenshots of my gift cards when I uploaded them. However there was no way to access gift cards in the last few updates. FINALLY they added it back in … but the app crashes when you tap on them. Gift Card balances never updated in the app previously. On the flip side - I really did like the app when it worked, loved pick up and online orders. Only issue back then is my phone would show a promotion that was not happening in the store.
