Same for the Batik Air Web page even after a PW update I was able to retrieve my booking on the web page however it says "Change Flight is Not Applicable for MultiLeg." I don't want to change flight just add meal. ### 1/5 — Pointless *2025-08-02, version 9.4* This app just hasn’t worked for me. It would not recognize booking references or flight number. When I searched to find out my flight status it said on time….it was 4 hours delayed! ### 1/5 — Poor *2025-07-28* I recently booked an emergency flight and paid extra for additional baggage, effectively doubling my ticket cost $680, only for the flight to be delayed with a couple hours of purchasing, rescheduled for the next day. I immediately tried contacting the airline, but couldn’t reach anyone by phone or get a response via email or website. Their policy page promised support for flight changes and refunds, but there was absolutely no follow‑through. In the hopes of getting some resolution, I purchased another flight through a different airline and expected the extra baggage fee to be refunded — but that never happened either. Despite doubling my payment for baggage, nothing was returned, and I still haven’t had a single response from customer service. It’s extremely disappointing. No any refund after 7 month….. ### 1/5 — Barely functioning app - a college kid could build better *2025-05-26, version 9.0* This app does the bare minimum and doesn’t even do that well. The app relies heavily on the browser so doesn’t offer a native experience and as a result to do anything requires you to login as it doesn’t save your session. The Manage Trip functionality completely breaks if you move your return flight to a later date as it still shows the old date and doesn’t update - a bug that needs to be fixed. I know Batik is a budget airline but this app is bad for 2025 and needs to do way better. ### 1/5 — worst airline ever *2025-05-03* The so-called WhatsApp customer service is just for show. In fact, they can't answer any questions. The flight was delayed for a long time, and there was no compensation or any explanation at all! If you want to travel in Malaysia, you must avoid this company! Just bin it because it doesn’t not work. ### 1/5 — buggy useless web app *2025-04-14* This is just a wrapper around their useless web app, expect the following issues: unable to pay for flights, unable to update account details, unable to login. If you send them emails with detailed screenshots and error logs, their team is so incompetent they'll respond weeks later with: We have checked the system again and wish to advise that we are not facing any system error. While the issue persists. It's down there with the same abysmal quality as the indonesian evisa system. ### 1/5 — Not useable *2025-02-20, version 8.5* I agree with the other reviews. This app is impossible to use. I’m unable to add bookings, or check flight statuses. Similarly I couldn’t check in using the app (and instead did this through Batik’s website). ### 1/5 — Terrible! *2025-02-19* App does not work. Flight was changed by airline, and could not be rescheduled online. WhatsApp helpline was no help. Wasted about 3 hours total time on phone hold with customer service who never answered my call. What’s the point of having an app? ### 1/5 — Everything is bad *2026-06-01* So the app is shockingly bad. You can book your flights in the app, but once everything is finalised, you still won’t have access to the itinerary and booking in the app. You would need to manually enter it. Like why? Every other app seems capable of doing this without so much hassle. And this is all while i am actually logged in. Next, despite paying for business class in the hopes of avoiding issues, or at least minimising the issues or having them resolved easier, alas that is not to be the case. Batikair literally does not care about its customers. Don’t matter if you pay more or pay less, they will treat you like dirt regardless. So I guess at least they are consistent. Again alas, thats where their consistency ends. I had contacted customer service to try and get some answers and compensation for their error, the feedback I got after over 2 weeks, was pretty them saying that its not their fault, gaslight me to say it is all my fact despite all contradictory evidence. I then responded to their email with evidence and they have since ghosted me. So i highly highly recommend that no one in their right minds to fly Batikair. If their obvious systems are so erroneous, can you imagine the back end? Just how trustworthy would their safety systems be? ### 1/5 — Complaint *2026-05-29* I am in line with the previous comments. So I remember you work before maybe a few months ago but it’s completely off now. ### 1/5 — Worst Airline Experience - totally Unreliable *2025-10-20* NOT RECOMMENDED I’m extremely disappointed with Batik Air. My flight was originally scheduled for 11:15 PM, but they changed it to 2:05 AM the next day without any proper explanation. I had a connecting flight to my next destination with enough time in between, but because of this irresponsible schedule change, I’m now going to miss my connection and will have to pay $1200 extra to reach my destination. This is absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional. It shows how unreliable this airline is. My recommendation to anyone flying with Batik Air is to keep at least 6 to 7 hours gap if you have a connecting flight — or better yet, avoid this airline altogether if you don’t want your travel plans ruined. ### 1/5 — Whats the purpose to have this app? *2025-10-02, version 9.7* This app is useless.
