Update this app so it works *2021-02-05, version 1.3.1* I am saying that the iOS is having issues with connectivity. I have done everything over and over that the instructions told me to do to gain connectivity through Wi-Fi. It just keeps telling me “unable to join network”. I’m hoping that the developer sees this and tries to do something because we are paid a lot of money for this and we want it to work properly. The software has not been updated with the car and people have spent money on this to just now realize that there is no way for us to drive the batmobile. You should warn people that since updates have occurred you have not many updates and allowed for this to happen. But the camera on my iPhone and IPad doesn’t work. Gray screen. Please resolve. The machine is fun. Not super fast. Not super great in grass or climbing. Figure eights / 8s and regular play is fun. If we had the camera while driving, the experience would gain at least 1 star, maybe more. Camera issue has been know for a while, per previous reviews, and it sounds like the support desk didn’t help and didn’t get answers from the tech behind the machine. If I don’t see resolve, I’ll demote from 3 stars to 2 or even 1. ### 2/5 — Need update for iOS 13, video is broken *2020-05-23, version 1.0.8* Video no longer works with the latest iOS version, the camera is blank. Please fix & add some new options. Disable sound (running motor) to save battery life. ### 1/5 — UPDATE APP FOR LATEST IOS!!! *2020-05-06, version 1.0.8* Despite some back and forth with customer service via email, not a single rep mentioned the need to turn off cellular data to make this work (although the camera remains useless at this point, as others have described). Further, after asking if an update is coming, I was told that they had no idea and that updates are just announced/put out there with no prior knowledge to other employees- kind of sounds like a broken system to me, as communication should be key, especially in a situation where so many customers are affected by something like this. This is why this should have come with a dedicated controller- I realize that they were going for the lure of fancy options potentially available via smartphones, but if the support for upgrading software vanished, it makes the product obsolete- not really fair when a customer is spending a premium price for something that should work out of the box. A solution suggested by one of the reps? To see if I had an old phone lying around and use that!?? We typically trade in our phones, and judging by other people’s experiences, it might be worse trying an old phone (crashing/freezing apps). Please dedicate updating the app regularly- it shouldn’t be that hard. ### 3/5 — Amazing Batmobile... App needs Updating *2020-04-30, version 1.0.8* The app no longer supports video from in the cockpit of the Batmobile. Forget about video it doesn't work. I have two of the batmobiles and both have same errors. I wish the app was open source so someone could update it. Better yet wish it came with its own controller. After the app generates the 2nd password, the prompt to enter the new password on the Batmobile wifi never comes up and all I get is an “unable to connect” message. I tried turning off cellular data and the WiFi “private address” tab… and nothing. I guess it’s going to be a display piece. The camera issue was corrected and then suddenly the batmobile stopped connecting to wifi. Please update so it can work again. My dads iPhone XR will link but has no camera view and will not move at all. My iPhone X will link, no camera view and is able to move the car. It makes no sense. Very happy to say to that their latest update fixed all glitches! Camera transmission now works! Once again, thank you for listening and supporting your customers. The app worked very well after I turned off cellular data. This should be part of the instructions when you are downloading the APP. I have no problems connecting or driving the car but the sensitivity of the joysticks make it a little hard to drive. A few things that would make this app better would be an option to record some of the live video feed and maybe an option to either power up/down the car from app as long as “on “ switch is active on car. As far as the car itself, LED flashing lights on the cannon and rotating machine guns. So tried resetting it to make it work, and it got me nowhere. I finally went into the app settings for this app and turned off cellular data off on my phone for this app and that fixed it. Worked like a charm after that with no issues.
