## What is Baton?

Baton is a chore app for exactly two people.

Here's how it works. You do a chore. You mark it done. The turn passes to your partner, and only then can you nudge them.

One nudge per turn. That's the rule, and it's enforced. You can't nag someone if you haven't contributed yourself.

Most chore apps are built for households of five, with points, streaks, and leaderboards. Baton isn't. No scores. No badges. No proof photos. No automatic reminders. Just a shared list, two colors, and a turn that has to be earned.

Each of you picks a color when you sign up. The rest of the app stays deliberately colorless, so at a glance you can always see whose turn it is.

What Baton doesn't have:
• Points, streaks, or leaderboards
• Proof photos
• Automatic reminders
• Households of three or more

Baton is free while it's new. No ads, ever.
