## What is BATT?

BATT is a content blocker for Safari. It lets you Block All The Things that slow down your browser - like adverts and cookie notices - and makes it a bit more magical surfing the internet.

Who wants ads taking up space on their screen? Or those really annoying EU cookie notices? (Yes, thank you, EU, we're all aware of what cookies are.) And how about those social share buttons? Comments sections? GONE!

BATT features:
• Blocks ads, Cookie notices, Social share buttons, and Comments sections, and any combination thereof.
• Updatable blocklists: We update the lists as often as we can; you just need to check for updates in the app.
• Whitelists: Add a site via the share action button in Safari, and BATT won't block content on that site. You can also remove a site from there, or in the app.
• Report a problem on a website: Use Safari's share action button to anonymously tell us if BATT is causing a problem on a website. We'll do our best to fix it for you! (And it really is anonymous.)
• Accessibility built-in: Differentiate Without Colour, Button Shapes/Show Borders.

This only works on Safari and no we’re else

I’ve been using this app for probably two weeks now. It’s difficult to know whether or not its working because I don’t know whether the sites I've visited in that time even had the cookie popups. It does seem promising though. Since downloading the app i’ve seen only two cookie notifications and both were on fairly obscure sites. I reported them both so hopefully there is some kind of action from the developer to include them in a future blocklist update. 
I rated this 5 stars not because i’m certain of its effectiveness but because it has potential to be great and i want to encourage future users to give it a go. The more people that use it and report the sites with unblocked notifications, the more effective it should theoretically be. So give it a crack!
