BUT it’s missing one vital component, and that’s the ability to let you know WHEN your battery needs charging, and at a percentage of one’s own choosing, i.e; I would like to be able to set an alarm for charging when the battery has dropped to 30%. For a “Five Star Rating” could you please consider adding this vital feature for a better monitoring health care of one’s battery ? Thank you 🙏🏼. Other than that, it’s a nice, plain and easy to use App 👍🏼 UPDATE: Had to downgrade it to just “One Star” due to finding out that the “Alarm” does NOT sound a warning when reaching your desired percentage. Now deleting App !! 😔 ### 2/5 — It used to work properly. *2026-01-06* I’m giving it only two stars because over the past several days the alarm hasn’t sounded. I’ve deleted and reinstalled it several times, and while the alarm now works I can’t set a charge level except for 91% and up. It’s analogous to setting the temperature levels in my refrigerator & freezer each time that I open the doors. NOTHING HAS CHANGED! Why can’t I set my Battery Alarm app to sound BOTH at & when I’m nearly approaching those to limits? These charging limitations of based upon my own reading & preferences. ### 5/5 — LOVE that the app now REMEMBERS my preferred charge level! *2024-07-10* The FULLY CHARGED indicator continues to be a bit off, though. Apparently, there are 2 distinct battery charge level indicators. The one that you use is OFF from the tiny charge indicator displayed in the upper right hand corner of the display on my 1TB Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max. My workman’s that I set a 3-minute alarm. When this app sounds that it’s reached my preferred 80% charge level, I turn off this anouing alarm & start my 3-minute timer. Coincidentally, it takes 3 minutes to reach my desired 80% charge level. Yes, this is a bit annoying & seemingly unwarranted effort on my part, but we GEEKS tend to have well defined desires, with precise outcomes! “What are you gonna do?” - a favorite quote from my “Donnie Brasco” DVD. ### 5/5 — Alarm Sounds 2% BEFORE Target! *2024-03-20* Consistently, the alarm sounds indicating that I’ve reached the target charge level at 2% BEFORE the Apple battery charge level agrees. So, I use this app as an early warning indicator & then closely watch my continuing charge until my approaching target is reached. Which indicator is actually correct? Who knows…? It’s like the old saying, “A person with a clock knows what time that it is, but a person with 2 clocks is never quite sure…” ### 5/5 — Sticky Settings… *2023-11-14* Love the app, but wish it would REMEMBER my charge settings for the last use & before the last iOS reboot! I use 80% as my up-charge -the high charge default limit & 40% as my down-charge- the low limit. Shouldn’t an iOS battery charge limit indicator be able to accurately REMEMBER these 2 user-selected up-charge & down-charge limits? ### 5/5 — A simple problem…? *2023-10-15* To maximize my iPhone battery life, I deliberately try to ALWAYS keep my battery between 40% & 80%. I need a high charge alert & a low charge alert. One would mistakenly believe that many applications offer such a commonplace & foundational alert system, in an effort to maximize battery life.
