Merci. ### 4/5 — how u? *2024-08-26* good boy! ### 4/5 — Works well when app is onscreen on iPadOS 16 *2023-11-24* I previously left a negative review when running iPadOS 15. Since updating to iPadOS 16.7, it works well when the following conditions are met: 1) This app is left running onscreen before turning off the display 2) Background Mode option is toggled “on” in the app 3) Focus/Do Not Disturb mode is turned off on iPad (so the alarm sounds) 4) Make sure your device volume is loud enough to hear the alarm. With this magic combination, this app works very consistently to sound the alarm at 80% battery for me when charging. Previously, it was very hit-and-miss on iPadOS 15. Have not yet upgraded to iPadOS 17 (always wait a little bit to let Apple fix the big bugs first), so can’t speak to that OS compatibility yet. Gave it four out of five stars now - taking one star away due to the complexity involved to get it to consistently sound the alarm. ### 4/5 — Very good but not working with Ios17 *2023-09-20, version 4.2.0* Giving false battery percentage after I updated to ios 17 ### 4/5 — Great Product. *2023-09-19* I’ve used this product for years on my old iPhone 7 and SE 2nd Gen. only ran into a problem today. The problem is that running this app in the background (the only way to get the alarm with the app closed) generates a HUGE battery consumption… so that when you look in the battery iPhone parameters, this app is ranked number one in term of consumption. It doesn’t make any sense supposed to better control your battery. Understand the app has to check the battery level but this doesn’t have to be done every second. (Latest comment) I give up! ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work most of the time on iPadOS 15.3 *2022-03-28, version 4.2.0* Agree with one of the other reviews that this Pro app, which is NOT free, doesn’t work reliably at all. Only occasionally (meaning less than half the time), it will sound an alarm at the 80% charge level I set. However, most of the time, with the app’s background toggle set to “on”, and even leaving it as the active app onscreen, it will not sound if the iPad is locked and the screen is off (which is how one should be able to charge the iPad for security purposes). So due to this app’s repeated failures, it has allowed my expensive iPad Pro to overcharge numerous times to 100%, which as we all know, shortens the battery health and overall life. It wasn’t great on iPadOS 14, and unfortunately it’s gotten worse on 15. Really a shame, because I’ve been using this app’s predecessors for several years with mostly good results on older iOS versions. Here’s hoping the developer fixes this soon. As it is now, it’s not worth any money as it’s VERY UNRELIABLE, and relying upon it is worse than checking the battery charge level yourself. Dev, I’m willing to change my rating if you’re ultimately able to fix it, because I would like this to work. ### 1/5 — Last Update *2021-02-25* Last update killed the app, it was working very well, but, after the update, the app has a lot bugs and it isn’t working. After update to 4.0.6, the problem started, and yesterday I update to the new 4.0.7, but no change. **Developer response:** Can you try 4.0.8 ? ### 1/5 — App works when it feels like!!! *2021-01-27* I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled it numerous times and it’s the same thing. I have it set for 40% (low) and 100% (high) and It’ll work sometimes for both. Then sometimes on one of them and then it won’t work for either of them. I carefully read all instructions and have gotten these results repeatedly. I’m tired of messaging around with this. It would’ve been a useful app if it constantly worked. So simple and easy to use, compared to others I tried. Brilliant. Love the sound options as well. The whistling is top favourite followed by the drums. Upgrade to Pro was well worth it. Now buying as gift for other people. This app creator deserves acknowledgement and LOTS of good coffee. If you need what it does you can’t go wrong. Nice layout, not too cluttered so easy to use - and I especially enjoy the Africa drum (djembe) sound. Just upgraded from the free version as a result. Well worth buying this developer more coffee! Updated review: Another great bonus is it works with older iOS phones. A lot of apps these days require the latest versions of iOS. Unfortunately not now in the actually version. Is it possible to get that back? Then it gets five stars. I wrote to the developer weeks ago but unfortunately received no response.
