Nor are games for older kids that center around blowing one another up and destroying armies of attackers with machine guns. I’m a progressive parent who doesn’t shy away from discussing this kind of stuff with my kiddo, but these ads are utterly inappropriate. Is there a way to pay to get rid of these ads? I downloaded the original Battle Bugs as a kid, and I loved it. I still do, to this day, despite the fact that I can no longer play it. On a whim, I decided to check the App Store to see if they remade it, and lo and behold, Battle Bugs has come back. But this version? Nothing like it. The original one was just a chill game where you got to level up your bug, with the occasional quest/side objective. Plus, I absolutely adored the art style. This one is just another mainstream child magnet looking for money. The graphics remind me of 99% of the other mobile games nowadays. Battle Bugs was different, and I guess that was just another reason why I enjoyed it so. If you brought back the original game, this would be so much better.
