### 3/5 — Loses Style and Charm

The game is fun. It’s similar to the first, but something it loses is the first game’s charm. I can respect changing the style, but I preferred the more cartoonish look of the first game. It’s basically like the developer made Legacy and then was like, “if I make a true sequel it now needs to match Legacy”. The linear progression of the first is still here, but upgrading your party can seem like a drag with the addition of crystals. Instead of using gold, I’m forced to play battles to grind crystals too. There was certainly grinding in the first, but Idk this grinding isn’t as fun. Even grinding a past dungeon in Legacy was more enjoyable for me. In the same way Zombieville has always had a similar vibe (including 3D), I hope the next installment of Battleheart has the art of the first and humor of Legacy. I do appreciate this developer and have followed them on twitter and played all their games except Lost Frontier. Also I miss OMG Ninja that guy was awesome. As far as I know the developer works alone as well, and I’m totally ok with them putting their efforts to update Zombieville 3D if they have the time to do so. I think Battleheart still holds the place in my heart.

The game is just to short! We need more than this. But a solid game for sure and 100% worth the couple $s they ask.

EDIT: Way too short AND small. Level cap at 30, and all the missions that give Bonus EXP, well they are worthless because when your exp bar goes around again, you just get skill points. You can get those as a Bonus from every new mission choice, along with gems or money. All still useful after level cap of 30, unlike any mission rewarding bonus exp. HUGE Development oversight, and that brings the game from 4* down to 2* for me.

This game could be fun if the AI teammates weren’t stupid.  They will NOT engage until enemies are beside them. The healers won’t heal unless you micro manage each and every battle. Stupid

Love the game, absolutely a blast with friends, biggest downside is if you accidentally drag your screen down, it completely kicks you out of a multiplayer game, and kicks you back to the title screen, is there anyway to fix this or disable it?

Fixed an issue which could cause a save file to crash on the pre-battle menu if a dialog sequence had been improperly resolved.

- Fixed an issue causing Cyrus' skeletons to grow stronger in the arena with each passing wave

- There are now 7 difficulty levels in the options menu (up from 5), and the highest setting is now more dangerous than before.
- Text speed can be set to "instant" in the options menu
- A new "extended" interface can be selected from the options menu.  This makes allied portraits visible across the top of the screen which can be tapped or dragged from as proxies for your heroes.
ADJUSTMENTS:
- Arena currency gains no longer completely plateau, but continue to gain linear improvements, leading to increased earnings at higher waves.  
FIXES:
- Currencies are now capped at 1 million to prevent numbers from getting too high to process correctly.
- Bonus Wealth/Knowledge from items caps at a (very generous) 200%, to prevent absurdly high currency gains.
- Costello's "Ready to Rock" talent now properly reduces the cooldown of Inspire.

- Fixed a crash that could occur in co-op at battle start due to the presence of Costello under certain circumstances
- Fixed a crash that could occur in co-op when Odette's life drain strikes a dying target
- Greatly reduced rewards from arena battles that reach extremely high wave counts.  Currency/XP gains per wave no longer grow multiplicatively and will eventually plateau.
- Deflection and Rewind Chance from gear is now capped at 50%.
- Extreme levels of haste will no longer cause a hero to interrupt their own attacks before they deal damage.
- The arena now scales more rapidly in difficulty at higher waves.

- November's "Winter is Here" talent is no longer active even if you haven't learned it yet.
- Fixed a random crash that could happen at the start of a battle in co-op
- Rynn now properly gains a small amount of armor as the party levels up
