### 3/5 — Loses Style and Charm

*2026-03-25, version 1.1.2*

The game is fun. It’s similar to the first, but something it loses is the first game’s charm. I can respect changing the style, but I preferred the more cartoonish look of the first game. It’s basically like the developer made Legacy and then was like, “if I make a true sequel it now needs to match Legacy”. The linear progression of the first is still here, but upgrading your party can seem like a drag with the addition of crystals. Instead of using gold, I’m forced to play battles to grind crystals too. There was certainly grinding in the first, but Idk this grinding isn’t as fun. Even grinding a past dungeon in Legacy was more enjoyable for me. In the same way Zombieville has always had a similar vibe (including 3D), I hope the next installment of Battleheart has the art of the first and humor of Legacy. I do appreciate this developer and have followed them on twitter and played all their games except Lost Frontier. Also I miss OMG Ninja that guy was awesome. As far as I know the developer works alone as well, and I’m totally ok with them putting their efforts to update Zombieville 3D if they have the time to do so. I think Battleheart still holds the place in my heart.

### 2/5 — Great game but..

*2026-02-02, version 1.1.2*

The game is just to short! We need more than this. But a solid game for sure and 100% worth the couple $s they ask.

EDIT: Way too short AND small. Level cap at 30, and all the missions that give Bonus EXP, well they are worthless because when your exp bar goes around again, you just get skill points. You can get those as a Bonus from every new mission choice, along with gems or money. All still useful after level cap of 30, unlike any mission rewarding bonus exp. HUGE Development oversight, and that brings the game from 4* down to 2* for me.

### 3/5 — Battleheart Legacy is better

*2025-11-05, version 1.1.2*

Legacy (not battleheart 1) is far superior and I’m leaving this review just so people will get that instead!
You won’t regret it.

### 4/5 — Please add controller support

*2025-07-30, version 1.1.2*

Otherwise great game.

### 4/5 — Multiplayer issue

*2025-03-24, version 1.1.2*

Love the game, absolutely a blast with friends, biggest downside is if you accidentally drag your screen down, it completely kicks you out of a multiplayer game, and kicks you back to the title screen, is there anyway to fix this or disable it?

### 4/5 — A Miss Opportunity~

*2025-03-13, version 1.1.2*

I was Expecting another 3D model like “legacy” but unfortunately it’s just like the first one.

If this game was like (Legacy), i’m sure ALOT of people will get this game and play it more, people still play (BHL) to this day because of its unique design and gameplay.

Please do BattleHearts Legacy 2.
Me & others would definitely enjoy and buy it, also give us more characters or allow us to create our own skill.

### 2/5 — Meh

*2024-10-31, version 1.1.2*

Okay, nothing special, it has nothing on legacy though. Battleheart legacy was and still is one of my all time favorite mobile games.

### 2/5 — Not worth it

*2024-02-27, version 1.1.2*

I played, and really enjoyed, the first Battleheart. This sequel falls flat. If you were a fan of the original you’ll likely be unimpressed with this, which is sad because there was a ton of potential to make it good. The progression is essentially broken. You’ll find yourself repeating the same level over and over, and not for the fun of it. Really sad to see. Cannot recommend.

### 3/5 — Enjoyable game, but Endgame has some serious problems.

*2024-02-14, version 1.1.2*

I enjoy all the Battleheart games… and I replay them every few years. BH2’s end game isn’t the final boss… it’s seeing how deep into arena you can get.

The problem is, at some point very shortly after you defeat the final boss… all you need are crystals. Yet the games rewards are split evenly between XP, Money, books (which have no use) and Crystals which are all you need to improve your team because you’ve already unlocked every skill you can.

Yet the game still throws you 3 of 4 types of rewards and it feels like Crystals are the least common. I find myself insta quitting missions just to refresh the battlefield of encounters to try to get one that awards crystals. If the 15 or so battle fields, all that matter beyond the arena are the 3 most difficult which quickly become trivial… along with all the other bosses who’s rewards don’t matter anymore.

I wish there was some sort of trigger on the progression of arena… like once you reach over 100 waves for your record… all rewards from
That point in arena are crystals…

Also… since your account levels (and not your individual characters) once you hit level 20… XP is only good for getting bonus books that you don’t need… maybe switch that to Crystals once you have say 500 unused books… the trigger happens and every bonus level (leveling beyond 20) awards 6 crystals instead of 6 books.

The game is a bit old, and I doubt the devs have any interest in changing it now… but that is just a frustration you should prepare yourself for if you plan to keep playing beyond beating the final boss.

### 3/5 — Used to be great….

*2023-09-22, version 1.1.2*

Mikamobile used to support their apps like no other! Looks like they've given up. In the iPhone 13 at least, it doesn’t go full screen. I’d imagine it’s the same story on any newer iPhone.

### 4/5 — iPad

*2022-12-30, version 1.1.2*

Not fullscreen on iPad

### 4/5 — Fun but Quick.

*2022-08-10, version 1.1.2*

I had a blast playing this game with my girlfriend. with a few minor annoying bugs that boot you from multiplayer server randomly in arena, or if you play from iphone and access your swipe down menu it boots you (which can easily happen accidentally selecting your characters from the top right list).
I love the simplicity and customization.
I was sad to beat the game in <24hrs play time... but at least i can up the difficulty and play some more...

### 5/5 — Battleheart 2

*2022-06-24, version 1.1.2*

Can we get controller support for this game I like playing

### 2/5 — A Step Down

*2022-04-18, version 1.1.2*

What a disappointment after Legacy.

Dull, repeatative assembly line grindfest.

### 5/5 — Simple and fun

*2022-03-31, version 1.1.2*

This game flew under the radar and it looks silly. But there’s actually a lit of depth and it’s fun! A variety of characters with different skills and the challenging bosses makes this a keeper!
Great replay value as well.
It’s been 3 years. Hope you guys update. This is hands down the best!
Better than legacy!!!

### 5/5 — “(Please add a function to save all new files)”

*2022-01-13, version 1.1.2*

Hello everyone, developer, developers team How are you guys doing I see new update was 3 yrs ago… :/ What do you guys not have enough to be encouraged to do more updates this series is very important to continue are you guys out of ideas for updates is that the issue?

My suggestion today is to add save to iCloud all files that I made to enjoy not “Just one… thats not enough guys please make an update for all the file upload saving that would be something you guys can work on and help you guys have a goal to working too.

Please reply to this review if there is an answer for me and How was my review? ^_^ <3

### 1/5 — If you want brain dead AI look no further

*2025-06-22, version 1.1.2*

This game could be fun if the AI teammates weren’t stupid. They will NOT engage until enemies are beside them. The healers won’t heal unless you micro manage each and every battle. Stupid

### 1/5 — Not as good as Legacy

*2024-03-15, version 1.1.2*

Comparing to BHL, this game is disgusting•

### 1/5 — I feel dumb for buying this

*2023-06-17, version 1.1.2*

Where is the female rogue, the paladin, the archer? I’m just going to play the first one 😕

### 1/5 — Bug in multiplayer

*2023-05-20, version 1.1.2*

When swiping down from the pull thing drops the game and forces you back into the lobby, please fix!!

### 1/5 — Redundant

*2022-01-07, version 1.1.2*

Cool game I guess for the young developer that put it together. It’s a little redundant and gets very boring, very quickly.

### 1/5 — Grind. More Legacy please.

*2021-08-18, version 1.1.2*

Battleheart 2 fair to say is a sequel to Battleheart not a sequel to BH Legacy and follows a similar formula to the first game but has stripped out any story and soul and introduced relentless, soul sapping grinding and with it sucked any fun out of the game.

Legacy was a marvellous game and great formula with lots of replay value. This went in the bin within a few hours when the formula became apparent. Shame.

### 1/5 — Don’t bother

*2021-01-09, version 1.1.2*

Words that describe this rubbish-

Repetitive. Boring. Monotonous. Pointless. Waste of money. Directionless. Huge grind. Death of an IP.

Words that do NOT describe this monstrosity-

Gripping. Addictive. Exciting. Vale for money. Lots of replay value. Recommended. Great story. Shows a bright future for the developers. Do not delete it and move on to better games. Created by talented devs that are full of innovation and ideas.

Words to remember-

Just don’t bother

### 1/5 — Insane grind

*2020-08-18, version 1.1.2*

You have to play the first few missions literally hundreds of times to make any progress.

### 1/5 — Terrible online experience

*2020-08-01, version 1.1.2*

The game is quite fun when it works. However, playing online with my wife ends in numerous disconnects.

### 1/5 — Boring

*2020-04-08, version 1.1.2*

I couldn’t get into it. It’s missing too much from legacy. It doesn’t feel like there’s any exploring or dialogue or character development or skills development like in legacy. Four guys are just thrown together without any background and then battle. Legacy seemed to have a good story and explanation for everything. The skill system isn’t as fun as legacy, which actually felt a lot like diablo 3 but even better in some ways, while this one quickly bored me. If ur into a story this ain’t 4 u

Much better than first chapter

### 5/5 — Don’t listen to review bombers

*2025-06-04, version 1.1.2*

This game is a fantastic sequel to the classic mobile Battleheart experience! Just enough new features while keeping the nostalgia of the first. 10/10

### 5/5 — Una auténtica maravilla

*2024-08-15, version 1.1.2*

Una joya de las que ya no se hacen. Más juegos como este necesitamos.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2024-07-26, version 1.1.2*

This game is truly polished, to this day i still play it as there is infinite (to my knowledge) upgrades and room to get stronger.

if you enjoy playing a game that u can infinitely get stronger in then i extremely highly recommend this game

Best part is that there are no ads or in game app purchases

### 5/5 — Как всегда шедевр!

*2024-01-23*

Обожаю этого разработчика! Он ценит своих потребителей. Всю душу вкладывает в создание игры!

### 5/5 — I just got it and I’m already addicted! 10/10

*2023-12-13, version 1.1.2*

Just as enjoyable as the original game, this one is straightforward and enjoyable.

### 5/5 — Loved the original, loved the sequel.

*2022-11-16, version 1.1.2*

I was happy to see the characters from the original return, I was even happier to see there was more depth added. I really really hope they make a third game, would love to keep supporting this dev, I’ve enjoyed everything that’s come from it.

### 5/5 — Awesome!!!

*2022-11-01, version 1.1.2*

Incredible game. Played the original for many many hours and this one is no different. Excellent game in my honest, 30 years of gaming, not as a casual, opinion. Mika mobile deserve way more credit as this game is way better than some so-called “Triple A” games. The bad reviews are likely from children, which, yeah, I guess this isn’t Fortnite. Please keep updating and caring for this game and others like it. I’ve been a fan for 10 years and I don’t expect that to change.

That said, everything from the original has been improved. When I say original I don’t mean Battleheart: Legacy. That is another incredible game but has a different formula than this one. I mean Battleheart. Graphics look great in this game and run smoothly on an iPhone 12 Pro Max. Controls feel more fluid and responsive than the first entry and the additions are all welcome. If you like a challenge I recommend upping the difficulty from the beginning. For me, it was better, MUCH better. Hopefully there will be a Battleheart 3 or more content someday. One can hope.
