No matter what age I put in and click confirm it doesn’t work. Really disappointed with this ### 2/5 — The bot cheats *2026-06-06, version 1.4.0* The ai bot always knows exactly where my ships are, and it gets torpedos and planes, where I don’t. It makes it frustrating. Best to play with real people. ### 3/5 — 2011 battleship *2026-05-15, version 1.4.0* I played the old Low poly terrible graphics battleship when I was a little kid and now that I have my own phone and I am now an adult I kind of wanna play the old little Polly battleship again you know, we didn’t play battleship for the good graphics. We played battleship because it was a board game. You guys made it too complicated now and I gotta hold my phone sideways. I got a road trip coming up. I wish there was a way to roll it back to version 1.0.85. ### 2/5 — Game good but App quality terrible *2026-01-05, version 1.4.0* The game is great. Who doesn’t like Battleships. But the app is a joke. It’s very buggy. I play with my son slot. The game keeps saying I have no internet connection, when clearly I do. I deleted. Redownloaded it, and still said no internet connection, even though I clearly used the intersect to download it. Apps that are this buggy are so annoying. ### 2/5 — Preisliche Frechheit *2025-11-02* Also 4,99€ für ein Spiel zu verlangen für 3 Maps und 3 Kommandeure und dann nochmal 4,99€ pro Kommandeur und 2,99€ pro Map ist schon wirklich verdammt frech. Ich hätte es ja verstanden wenn das Spiel umsonst wäre und man müsste für extra content bezahlen. Also if you play online I suspect your playing some staff members ### 1/5 — Computer cheats *2025-06-12, version 1.4.0* Got this game thinking I’d have some nostalgic fun, just got frustration instead. The computer cheats so blatantly that it’s sort of laughable. Game after game, it’ll make a bunch of suboptimal moves (shooting at several adjacent squares instead of shooting diagonally, aiming at corners or borders even when those are less likely to lead to a hit, shooting at the wrong squares when finishing off a ship that’s been hit, not taking into account the fact that it’s already downed your smallest ship, etc.), then suddenly pinpoint your ships with seemingly perfect information. I guess it was cheaper to program a cheating AI than one that just plays optimally, even for such a simple game. "Not a problem", I can hear you say. "I’ll just play online." Except that there are very few people ever queuing up for games, and after you’ve waited for a bit the game just matches you with a bot (they don’t tell you it’s a bot but it’s painfully obvious), and then it’s back to the above-mentioned cheating. Do not get this game. ### 4/5 — Almost perfect! *2025-05-14, version 1.4.0* Lots of fun!!! Loved the fast pace and perfect amount of suspense after deploying a missile! A few recommendations: - There is a lot of unused space which could be used by making the board bigger. Fat fingers know the struggle is real. - Add the names of the ships when they’re sunk. The names we make up are hilarious, but boring people might need them. - At the end, leave the screen up longer so I can see into the mind of my opponent by his crazy ship placement. - Is there a way to turn on some sort of ominous music and explosion sounds? If you don’t buy all the extra stuff everyone else has cheats against you. No way to contact the developer. If it has a 25% chance of choosing the right shot, it ALWAYS gets it. I could not find this anywhere on the app. This is rather frustrating as I bought the app for a plane journey.
