I have been playing for years and it never gets old. I wish the developers would come in and add a few more BEEFIER ships with more slots, another campaign map, and maybe about 6 new turrets. But the game is still a solid pierce of work, especially if you like a true real time space battle. UPDATE 2026: still playing, needs to be updated. Greatest space top down on iOS hands down. ### 4/5 — Best space game for iPadOS but,,, *2025-12-18, version 2.0.6* I’ve accumulated over 1000 hours with this game, it is wonderful and the challenge in infinite rounds, seeing how far you can go truly shows how complex and interesting the game can be. I would give 5 stars, but the game has not been maintained and there are issues on modern iPads running the latest OS where the game sounds will cluster and generate audio artifacts making game play very difficult. The difficultly is good, even quite challenging but no new weapons or ships as you venture further. If y’all were to update it my suggestion would be to add weapons, ships and fighters that are extremely rare in the late game but are specifically designed to foil certain play styles. Since you would be so used to waltzing in and destroying everything, you suddenly being stopped in your tracks by one nemesis ship that has exactly what foils your fighter or range based strategy would switch up the game significantly. Probably a way to make nemesis ships actually terrifying enemies, but it’s an old game and you have new cool projects so I have no expectations for you to make new updates. Provides amazing depth with a truly simple interface. I’ve seen some complaints that it’s too hard and that is fair, it IS hard. If you are having trouble starting out, upgrade fighter bays early to provide more ships faster. Strategically, stick close to your base sectors for both easy repairs and easy fights with assists from the bases. Just be aware that each lost turn eats away your experience award at the end of the game. I've never seen this game featured and it's a shame. This is an amazing mobile game. It features compelling fleet management both tactically and strategically. The overall game has a rogue like feel. The mechanics are simple and easy to execute on a touchscreen. The strategic layer offers real choice in building, equipping and upgrading your small fleet. Tactical combat also offers real challenge as you maneuver for advantages and make critical targeting choices. You are always hyper spaced nowhere near the space station. When chased by the enemy. Yet any other time you arrive next to it. Ship movement speed is awful and slow. As usual at the start you are given very little money to build the ship with.
