Hand-tuned details you won't consciously notice but will absolutely feel. "This is absolutely stunning." Chris Messina, Inventor of #hashtag "I love the subtle depth like the hour indices." Josh Ginter, The Newsprint WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT • Optimized for iPhone Duo Beautifully crafted for every pose, open or closed. • 3 Authentic Watch Movements Smooth 4Hz mechanical sweep at 28,800 beats per hour. Classic quartz tick. Digital glide motion. Real Swiss caliber accuracy. Not an animation. Physics. Turn on Clock Ticking to hear Quartz and Mechanical tick as they run. • Hand-built dial craft Hand-tuned palettes, custom numerals, depth from real shadowing, built by someone who over-invested so you don't have to pretend it's "good enough." The result looks like a high-end mechanical watch. • 18 Day Dials Each color is deliberately crafted to match your space, now with Agave and Burgundy. Pick the one that feels like yours. • 14 Lume Colors for Night Night mode that reads like real watch lume, with a glow carefully tuned to match authentic luminescence. • Dual Time Zones Your time zone plus any city in the world. Perfect for remote work, travel, or keeping track of family abroad. One glance, two clocks. Show them in Full Screen on iPad and iPhone Duo, or only when you turn your device sideways. • Dial Shuffle Enable once. Every time you return to the app, it surprises you with a new dial and lume combination. • Home Screen Widgets Local Time, Dual Time and World Clock, with Local Time and World Clock now also in a large size. Customize each widget on its own, or keep them all in sync with the app. • Day & Night Scheduling Three ways to control when your clock dial switches in Auto Mode: Follow System, switch at actual Sunset to Sunrise, or set your own Time Schedule. • StandBy Mode Built for iOS StandBy, night mode activates automatically to match the dark, minimal aesthetic. Pick Silver Hands or any lume color for the widget. WHAT PEOPLE SAY AND FEEL "Makes me so happy whenever the clock pops up." Hyatt N., Director "It brings me so much joy." Adding to nightstand mode choices has been great. ### 5/5 — Great design! *2026-09-19* I really appreciate the awesome design of this app. So clean and well done. ### 5/5 — Beautiful *2026-09-16* Simple well executed clock. Love the widget. ### 1/5 — Not worth the money *2026-08-18* The app isn’t bad but its really overpriced, I would genuinely not recommend buying this app as it has absolutely zero utility other than aesthetics, which are beautiful, but other than that, your money is probably better spent on the Mac version of this app. ### 5/5 — Oh my god I just paid 19 dollars (?) for a clock widget. *2026-08-12* I assumed this was like, functional clock wallpaper, or something, which seemed cool; it is on me for not reading. It’s not that, it’s a clock widget, which I already had, from the clock app on my phone. I guess you can make this one green, so there’s that. I’m giving it five stars because it does exactly what it says it does—be a clock widget—perfectly well, and because I respect a good grift. ### 5/5 — A Work of Art *2026-06-05* The attention to detail is unlike any app I have ever interacted with. Atilla is a super nice guy too! Very responsive with any questions I had and took the time to explain everything thoroughly. **Developer response:** Thank you so much for the great review Will. There is more to come to Bauhaus Clock. Enjoy! ### 5/5 — Awesome app *2026-06-03* Everything about this app is super cool **Developer response:** Thank you Adi! Enjoy! ### 5/5 — Turn something ordinary into a small moment of appreciation. *2026-06-03* Bauhaus Clock is one of those rare apps that turns something as ordinary as checking the time into a small moment of appreciation. Every element feels carefully balanced, from the proportions of the dial to the movement of the hands. The design stays true to the Bauhaus philosophy, where simplicity and function work together without sacrificing beauty. What I enjoy most is watching the hands sweep across the face. The animation is so smooth and deliberate that it feels less like a digital display and more like a finely tuned mechanical instrument. There’s a subtle sense of weight and precision to the movement, almost as if gears and springs are working behind the glass. Many clock apps simply display the time. Bauhaus Clock creates the impression of a crafted object. The attention to detail, restrained color palette, and thoughtful motion make it feel like you’re looking at a beautifully engineered timepiece rather than pixels on a screen. It’s a small app, but one that demonstrates how great design can elevate even the simplest experience. **Developer response:** Thank you so much for taking the time to write this. Reading that Bauhaus Clock creates a small moment of appreciation in people's lives means a lot to me. Creating something that feels more like a crafted instrument than a digital display was exactly the goal. Thank you for noticing the details and for sharing such a thoughtful and generous review. Enjoy! ### 5/5 — Great *2026-06-01* One minor request: option to make the second hand visible in dark mode. Also what about an Apple Watch face? ### 5/5 — Great *2026-05-19* One minor request: option to make the second hand visible in dark mode. ## Frequently asked questions about Bauhaus Clock ### What is Bauhaus Clock?
