Not so useful in an urban environment where streets don't go through and direct paths are often misleading. Being able to link to my account and know time remaining on current share automatically is a key missing feature. Sure, the in app timer helps... If you always remember to set it at the right moment. Also the share program needs more kiosks in more of San Jose. Having nothing north of Hedding is absurd. Both of those are required to make it work! ### 1/5 — Not helpful *2017-08-16* This app is not helpful. The UI is confining - why show a map inside a small circle? You can't rent a bike from it, so it doesn't really provide that much utility. Lastly, I turned on notifications and a couple of hours i received a notification saying that I had 5 minutes left to return a bike. But I never rented one! I got fed up that the app doesn't let you rent and just walked home. So how am I receiving notifications saying that my bike rental is late? Horrible experience. **Developer response:** Tap the button on the bottom left of the app to show the full map with all stations. We are not associated with Ford GoBikes, so we have no access to your accounts or the workings of their system. This means you cannot rent a bike from the app, and if you set a time, you will have to unset it if you don't want it to go off, similar to an egg timer. ### 1/5 — Not the ford gobike app *2017-08-09* Careful. Not the app you want if you want to rent bikes in sf Bay Area. After returning my bike and getting the green light AND a notification from the app that I had in fact returned the bike successfully, I later received a notification saying my bike was overdue. But I think it just says that if you click the countdown timer, whether or not you returned the bike. **Developer response:** Because we are an independent third party, we have no access to your Ford GoBike account. Thus, the timer within the app is like an egg timer.
