Came down with some respiratory problems and needed meds to recover. The PA was available online and I was treated immediately. Really receptive to my complaints and ailments. I finally received a call back at the end of the day to advise me that the doctor would like to schedule a telehealth appointment for the next day. I instead downloaded the app for Baycare Anywhere and was quickly on an online appointment with a Doctor. She heard my symptoms and was able to order scripts to my pharmacy. I should have done this sooner. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — False announcement of 24/7 *2025-11-20, version 12.22.400* This app is a complete disappointment. They boldly advertise “24/7 online doctors,” yet every time I needed help, every single doctor was offline for HOURS. That’s not a minor issue — that’s straight-up misleading advertising. I contacted their support and got a copy-and-paste excuse about doctors “managing their own schedules,” which basically confirms they know the service isn’t truly 24/7 while still promoting it as if it is. Then when I replied asking why they claim 24/7 if they can’t provide it, they completely ignored my message. No accountability, no honesty, nothing. If your health matters, don’t rely on an app that promises 24/7 care but disappears when you actually need it. This is misleading, unreliable, and unacceptable from a healthcare service. ### 1/5 — Televisit due to COVID *2023-10-20, version 12.19.103* This is second visit at baycare as first one was in Tuesday of this week. Her symptoms have gotten a lot worse and decided to air a televisit. When loving in and making appt my insurance bcbs Bank of America did not come up and therefore had to pay before I could see dr. Your system was at fault for not giving me that option. This was co formed by a representative at the 800 number. Or happy that now I have to go through my insurance to get my $59. back. Visit with nurse practitioner was good though ### 1/5 — Worst app- no providers and incompetent *2023-01-02, version 12.16.106* Doctor sent over wrong Rx. Then I called customer service and they said Dr not answering call but they would email him. Never heard back. Then called again and just asked to refund previous Dr visit and I would see another provider because who knew how long it would take to fix. I logged onto app and there were ONLY 2 providers with multiple people waiting. I selected one and waited for over a hour only to have system transfer me to another provider who was offline! I ended up with no help! ### 1/5 — Scam! *2020-01-18* Think twice before you use this app! I have been fighting a pretty bad cold for 2 weeks. My sister (a nurse) recommended I try Baycare. Setup was easy and I was talking to a doctor in under 20 minutes. So far so good... I met with Dr. Ljubomir Ilic. He took a personal call while on the line w me which was a little weird but fine this stuff happens. He seemed to think my issue was a pretty cut and dry case of the cold. He prescribed two different types of inhalers and said he’d send the script to my pharmacy (already provided in the app). This was at 9am. When I told my sister about the inhalers she said she thought that was a weird choice for a cold (especially since I have no nasal congestion, just a sore throat), but again said that it was probably fine. Well an hour later (10am) I head to my pharmacy and they say they have not received the script from the app/ doctor even though I was sent a receipt in app (with the right medicine and right pharmacy listed). The pharmacy says I should call back in a bit. Now it’s 2pm and the pharmacy still hasn’t received the script and I am out $60 from the app (what I paid for the appt). Worst part is Baycare customer service only operates limited hours during the week and today is Saturday. So I can’t even call to figure out what happened until Monday. And the app won’t let me re-review my experience - after I saw the doctor it forced me to pick a rating of him and the experience before I could move on .... this is total crap design given that the experience isn’t complete until I get the medicine prescribed. Honestly this feels like a huge scam. I won’t be using this app again and I’ll make sure others know the experience I had. ### 1/5 — Ronald Green *2019-02-16* Worst mistake! Don’t use this service! I spent $45 to talk to talk to a physician about a developing sinus I He literally spent 3 min with me, rattle off some over the counter meds that I didn’t even get a chance to right down. I asked about antibiotics, although it’s been few years I’ve had a sinus infection before, and he said it was necessary. He ended the session before I could get him to repeat the OTC he recommended and had the nerve to say “patient was upset”. It’s a Saturday and my doctors office is closed and couldn’t get an appointment on Friday and I’m sick! $45 for less than 5 minutes is a pretty good scam you running. So unless a real doctor wants to contact me ASAP and prescribe what I need I will continue the negative comments by word of mouth and through social media that this service is a rip off and is taking advantage of people that are sick! I would give a 0 but that’s not an option. ### 1/5 — By far the worst virtual medical/teledoctor experience I have ever had *2019-01-07, version 11.1.318* I have used teledoctor services for many years now for everything from minor illnesses/colds/sinus infections to birth control and monthly care from a specialist. I decided to try baycare anywhere because I liked that they had physical offices near by. Huge mistake!!! This dr spent maybe 5 min on the video call with me, clearly did not read what I submitted beforehand or what we discussed during those ~5 minutes. The doctor ended my visit while I was half way through a sentence, the summary report that was sent to me had obvious and diagnostically important mistakes, the prescription written for me has nothing to do with my chief complaint, I specifically requested a doctors note for my employer (per the instructions from their website) and it’s been 3+ hours and two separate calls to customer service and still these issues have not been resolved! Customer service just says “hopefully within 2-6 hrs the dr will fix it” and there is “nothing else they can do.” Virtual medical care can be an absolute godsend, but stay far far away from baycare anywhere! For those who are ill and do not want to wait hours in a doctors office with other sick people just to have them tell you what you already know, I have personally used- dr on demand, amwell, lemonaid and other teledoctor apps and highly recommend all of them, just avoid baycare (worstcare) anywhere!!! ### 2/5 — Transferred to another Doctor *2022-06-25, version 12.10.006* I was waiting in line for the doctor I selected. I was down to one patient in front of me from five when the system automatically transferred me to another doctor. Otherwise it’s very easy. My provider was a very nice thorough practitioner. Mostly nurse practitioners and PAs. But I’d rather talk to them anyway! I’m able to upload pics, add information. I can see which providers are available when I sign on and have a provider that I’ve used several times and it lets me pick which provider I want to use so there’s more continuity. I still go to my primary at times but I use Baycare anywhere most of time because of the convenience, and it is more immediate and I’m not having to make an appointment. I used it once while I was at work so I didn’t have to miss work to go see someone.
