## What is BayHawk?

BayHawk turns your own fishing into your edge.

Most fishing apps run the same generic formula for everyone. BayHawk learns from your catches. Every fish and every slow day you log trains a private model on your water, so its bite predictions get sharper the more you fish. You are the hawk. BayHawk gives you the eyes.

Built for inshore saltwater anglers chasing redfish, speckled trout, and flounder across the bays, flats, and marshes.

WHAT YOU GET
- A live bite score for every spot, built from real conditions: tide, wind, water temp, salinity, pressure, solunar, and bottom structure
- See exactly why a spot scored what it did, factor by factor. No black box.
- A plain-language read on the day: what is helping, what is hurting, and what to target
- AI trip plans and pattern insights built from your own spots and catches
- Maps with satellite imagery, seagrass, oyster reefs, and depth contours
- Catch logging with photo fish and lure ID, plus bag-limit tracking and state regulations
- An Apple Watch app to log a fish the moment it hits the stringer
- Works offline, so your spots and conditions are there with no signal
- Share a safety plan with someone ashore before you run

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3 — 2026-08-06

Fixed: BayHawk was asking you to sign in every time you opened it, instead of remembering you. It now restores your session on launch and keeps it, so you sign in once and that is it.

### 1.2 — 2026-08-01

LOG IT IN TWO TAPS

The Catches tab now opens with two buttons: Catch and Skunk. No more hunting for a plus in the corner.

YOUR LOG COMES FIRST

Your fish sit at the top of the tab where they belong, instead of below bag limits, photo tools and everything else.

BLANK DAYS COUNT

BayHawk needs a few skunked trips before it can tune the scoring to your water, because that is how it works out where the fish are not. The tab now shows exactly how close you are, and there is finally a button that asks for them.

Also: the log sheet says "Log a blank" when that is what you are doing, and it stops asking whether you caught it at a spot on a day you caught nothing.

SIGN IN, AND YOUR SPOTS ARE ACTUALLY YOURS

BayHawk now asks you to sign in with Apple the first time you open it. That is what locks your spots and catches to your account, so the database refuses them to everyone else. Until you do, they are only protected by a five character sync code. Signing in also carries your whole log to a new phone.

Anything you already saved is claimed automatically when you sign in. Nothing is lost.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-07-26

• Read the Water is now smarter — it reads your saved spots by name and gets the structure right (grass flats, channels, and where they sit in the frame), grounded in your own log.
• New: tap AI button right on the map to read the water you're looking at — clarity, color, and structure from the latest satellite pass.
• Faster reads, plus polish and reliability fixes.
