Try to change phone and contribute using it and find a completely useless software which won’t let you reboot or faultfind. When you finely get it working, it won’t for long. I can (and will) write a better program to control this. I honestly can’t believe a company, who took the time to design/develop, build, market, sell, ship… (you get the pic) but totally fall flat on their faces with something as simple as a PTZ/IP application? I mean, COMPLETELY eludes them. Seriously, reach out… I think I could really help. Very fustrating. Donated it and got a Ring instead. ### 5/5 — Works awesome! *2019-06-25, version 1.2.7* When I bought it and then read reviews, I was super worried that I got screwed over. The set up was initially confusing and frustrating, but I recommend using the Ethernet cable and doing the set up that way instead of using WiFi. After the set up is complete, you can switch it to run off WiFi, which is what I did. Now it works awesome. I can check in from anywhere, I can move the camera angles. I even have it mounted and that was super easy to do. I haven’t had any problems with it. It’s been up and running for a good week and a half, and I still love it. I think I got a good deal on an in-home camera, and I highly recommend it! ### 5/5 — Finally got it working again. *2019-03-16, version 1.2.7* Followed the instructions for after the update, got it working again. ### 5/5 — How to get it working after update *2018-07-12, version 1.2.7* Mine stopped working after the update and I followed these steps to get it working again: 1. Delete the app and download the new version from the App Store. 2. Plug in camera, hold reset button for 10 seconds. 3. Connect camera to router via ethernet cable. 4. Open App, tap the menu access (white horizontal bars) at upper left of screen. Tap "camera list". 5. Tap the "add camera" icon at bottom of screen. Proceed with manual setup. You may disconnect ethernet cable and power after setup, move camera to a new location, power up and connect via wifi. NOTES: 1. Older cameras can't connect to 5G networks, only slower ones. 2. Each time a screen appears with a password field, you must create or enter a password for your wifi or camera, as appropriate. Easy to use app. Camera setup via the app is really easy. No directions of how to setup recording but not too hard to figure out. (Advanced Settings). When using sound and presets the screen image gets small to fit the buttons and doesn't go away unless you deselect the option, should be able to hear without image getting small. External, remote recording option would be nice (cloud storage?). Sound and voice work well but you will of course need someone else to help you test while you are in another room. Notifications can be annoying in a high trafficked area.
