It knows I'm subscribed, downloads the new issues as I'd expect, so why can't it stop persuading me to subscribe? We are the people who want to learn more and understand better but do not have time to devote to serious study. This publication educates and informs without overly dumbing down the subjects. In electronic format it becomes portable and readily to hand for those occasions when you need something to read but nothing on offer grabs your attention. The biggest plus is that you always have them to go back to. Unlike paper copies that tended to become neglected and discarded. App seems to work fine so far. ### 2/5 — Charged for the free trial *2016-03-19, version 3.3.53* I enabled the monthly magazine subscription yesterday in order to download a free issue to test. The app stated that would not be charged until the first month had completed. However, upon checking my bank account this morning, I found that I had been charged the monthly fee of £2.99 all the same. I know my 7 year old granddaughter is also very interested in all wildlife across the globe! The BBC Wildlife magazine has it all for young and old alike! It's definitely worth the subscription, even the extra magazine and books are good value too! I would definitely recommend it to educate the younger child and teenager alike. It will open their eyes too nature at every level, from insect to humpback whale! ### 2/5 — IPhone 6 Plus support still missing *2015-04-20* Still doesn't scale to fill the entire screen. Why did you have to change it? Now it goes back to the start of the magazine every time I log out and is really slow for each new page before it will allow one to scroll down the page. Not all change is progress and this certainly isn’t! ### 1/5 — Automatic subscription *2020-02-27, version 5.6.1* I was just trying to read an article online on the internet and it took me to the app a little while ago. There was no clarity at the top that there is a subscription attached to the magazine hiding below. When I clicked the top I never realised I may have got a subscription now which I never intended. This is not good any subscription should be clearly agreed. I want my subscription cancelled. If I want it I will do it with my free will. Even Ordnance Survey do this!
