It has a 0 by the hour’s making you think you can adjust it, but it can not be. Minutes only go up to 30. Poor instructions as well. Bought device and subscribed to premium membership to have more emergency contacts. Hoping there’s a mistake somewhere and it can be resolved. Update- looks like per website that device can still send out emergency alert without the protection timer activated. Need to test still.
