They recently started collecting information from other BT devices on your network to form a profile. NOPE. I paid for a device that did not require me to become a profile. Now it does. I’ll be using it without the app from now on, and the next time I need new probes, I’ll buy a different brand instead. ### 2/5 — Useful but annoying *2026-01-02, version 2.2.8* The alarm system was not well thought out. There is no delay after you clear the alarm it just keeps alarming over and over. The one for Spanish is quite deficient, in my case I can deduce by context and association the meanings because I know most of the cooking terms in original english but the translation to Spanish makes no sense for an Spanish speaker. For example (but not only): for RARE meat it is translating a different term that actually means STRANGE in Spanish. It is a correct translation for a completely different meaning and context. As in english. Who wants to cook weird meat? :) Thanks! ### 4/5 — Love the app *2023-12-28, version 2.2.4* Been using this app for over 3 years and love it. Awesome little app, deletes and adds various probes with ease. There is one or two little things to fix and make better. 1. The graph resets everytime you lock your phone. 2. The names use to show up on the temp page (ie: brisket. Ribs. Heat probe …..) now it just shows that little clover symbol and you don’t see what probe is what. These devices themselves work OK, but proper data management isn't available or fully compatible in the newer Inkbird app, nor are there any instructions or support whatsoever. for "older" Inkbird devices. (i.e. ITH-20R & IBS-M1 — new 2years ago, Ha!) the "support" page will just send you to shop to buy newer models. Since having this I’m able to cook more meats without doing much guessing or switching from probe to probe.
