Unfortunately probe 1 refuses to display the temperature history graph, and the app won’t connect the thermometer to WiFi. I’d love to see a dark mode GUI as well as some way to ring instead of just notify if the phone is locked. Custom alarm sounds also don’t seem to work for me. Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. ### 2/5 — It’s OK *2022-11-25* It works but the app side of it is quite simple especially after owning a MEATER. The probes give an accurate readout but when converted over to the app it struggles. On the graph, sometimes the lines work, sometimes they don’t. When both on the same screen often only one line will move. You need to be able to save each individual cook separately rather than one big never ending cook. It works and it tells me the temps so that side of it is good. But it’s 2022 and we like integration. The APP needs an overhaul. ### 2/5 — App needs to store the data *2022-11-13* Disappointed that the graphs don’t store the data properly during the cook. ### 2/5 — Can’t turn off Bluetooth *2022-11-10* Spent the extra money on a Wi-Fi thermometer instead of a Bluetooth one only to find that every time I walk away, my phone starts beeping saying Bluetooth disconnected. I have een through all of the menu settings and no way to turn this off. Please fix this as it is extremely annoying. ### 2/5 — No way to export data, graph stopped updating after a while *2022-09-11* The other inkbird apps which don’t support the IBBQ-4BW allow exporting of the historical temperature data as a CSV but this app doesn’t. On long cooks, the temperature graph breaks and no longer displays the latest temperature data and leaves gaps in the temperature history. The device itself is pretty good and very good value for money though. ### 3/5 — Can only add one device *2022-07-07* Can only add 1 device had to delete my other thermometer they should fix this ### 2/5 — Eh *2022-06-29* Customer support has a massive language barrier so forget trying to give recommendations for improvements. Can’t remove “well done label” from custom cooks. Can’t set specific times for custom smokes because it only saves ONE custom temp. Doesn’t show smoke name/label on main screen. No easy way to set presets or adjust custom time. But it does work well….just app is bad. ### 4/5 — Almost perfect *2022-01-21* Working great so far. Love being able to monitor graphs. Most of the time when I click on the graph function it displays the correct temp in real time but the graph is out dated. It may show the temp rising from 80 to 190 and then cuts off but shows the actual temp above the graph as being 265 deg. I have tried 20 different things to trick it into working, all to no avail. ### 2/5 — Preset alarm *2023-05-29* I really don’t care - as I am about to reach preset temp! Had a high temp alarm go on after turning up the heat. Had all the fat that melted off the meat catch fire. I was able to save the meat and smoker from possible extreme damage.
