### 2/5 — It lags

*2026-07-08, version 7.27.0*

Most of the time, I have to call them to get them to allow access to stuff.

### 1/5 — Register device every use

*2026-07-06, version 7.26.0*

I have to register my device every time I sign into the app. Whether one day, one week, or two week, I always have to receive the text. Even when checking the box to remember my device.

### 1/5 — CARE FINDER NEEDS WORK

*2026-07-02, version 7.26.0*

The find care features of this app are outsourced to another website. You can search this website all day, but what it won’t tell you is which diagnostic lab is in network, or which pharmacy is in network. Instead you get all the doctors that order meds or labs instead of the facilities that provide them

### 1/5 — Always cutting corners for cost savings for the insurance company and stock holders

*2026-06-30, version 7.26.0*

I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired. These damn insurance companies take your premiums and then do everything they can to deny or delay coverage just so they can record ever increasing capital gains. At some point they will just euthanize all of us after the collect out premiums to maximize profits. The whole medical “practice “ is rigged to make the patient feel grateful for the smallest of improvements.

### 1/5 — Difficult to find an answer to one simple question

*2026-06-16, version 7.25.0*

So, this is the reason for my one star. I would have left minus stars if possible. My frustration currently are with the difficulties I have encountered while trying to determine whether my health plan covers Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) with a registered dietitian. If a member has an HMO, I’ve learned you are considered the step-children. I would advise everyone NEVER get an HMO.
My physician has recommended that I see a registered dietitian as part of my treatment plan. Previously, I was taking Ozempic through a patient assistance program and was experiencing positive results. Unfortunately, with my current insurance coverage, the medication is unaffordable. Even after applying available coupons and assistance programs, the cost of the 2 mg dose exceeds $500 per month, which is simply beyond my financial means.
As an alternative, my physician has prescribed phentermine and believes that combining it with guidance from a registered dietitian would provide the best opportunity for success. However, before I can pursue that recommendation, I need to know whether I can afford the dietitian visits and whether they are covered under my plan.
To get this information, I called the customer service number on the back of my insurance card. During that call, I was placed on hold repeatedly and spent nearly 30 minutes trying to get an answer to a single question. Eventually, I had to end the call because my work break was over. Unfortunately, I still did not receive the information I needed.
Since then, I have spent several days attempting to determine whether my plan covers Medical Nutrition Therapy, what requirements must be met, and whether referrals, prior authorizations, or other administrative steps are necessary before I can schedule an appointment. The process has been unnecessarily difficult and time-consuming.
I am also concerned about the administrative burden placed on my primary care physician. It seems that a significant amount of time is spent completing forms, obtaining referrals, and navigating approval processes that take time away from patient care.
As a member, I expect access to clear information about my benefits and timely assistance from customer service representatives. Instead, I have found it extremely challenging to obtain basic coverage information needed to make decisions about my healthcare.
I would appreciate a clear explanation of my coverage for Medical Nutrition Therapy, including any applicable requirements, limitations, referral requirements, prior authorization requirements, and out-of-pocket costs. I would also appreciate feedback regarding the customer service experience described above.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.

### 1/5 — Left unsure of what’s owed

*2026-06-11, version 7.25.0*

It’s ridiculous how unclear balance is with “you may owe” without knowing who to contact to resolve.

### 3/5 — 打不开

*2026-06-04, version 7.24.0*

总打不开

### 1/5 — Legal Crooks

*2026-05-29, version 7.24.0*

Like ALL and EVERY insurance company BCBSTX is nothing but legal crooks. They spend their money to buy off the crooked politicians and then scam we the customer to make BILLIONS of profit.

Then they wonder why desperate people
do desperate acts. It is shocking it doesn’t occur more.

Greed will
Always destroy capitalism and insurance is leading the charge.

### 1/5 — Lockup

*2026-05-26, version 7.23.0*

Screen just locked up.

### 1/5 — Coverage

*2026-05-23, version 7.23.0*

The coverage is a joke, this is why I rather not go to the doctor. These charges are ridiculous, especially when they can’t tell me what’s wrong and what ant to continue scheduling more appointments

### 1/5 — Trash company trash app

*2026-05-20, version 7.23.0*

Raking in so much money but can’t even design a good app that you can pay off bills lol

### 1/5 — Provider finder not working

*2026-05-18, version 7.22.0*

Can’t find a local general doctor on app. Cannot log in on website. Horrible experience so far

### 1/5 — Horrible!

*2026-05-17, version 7.22.0*

It won’t let you filter doctors by gender. I tried changing my PCP and it picked someone else and now it won’t let me change it! I tried sending a message through the app and it says there’s an error! Completely worthless app. Try to choose a PCP on the website and it just takes you to a list of doctors and you can’t select one to be your PCP. So aggravating.

### 1/5 — Terrible Service

*2026-05-05, version 7.22.0*

I changed my PCP online, & after submitting a specific doctor the app imputed a completely different doctor no where near me

### 2/5 — Horrible

*2026-05-04, version 7.22.0*

The app is not user-friendly, especially when logging in. I’ve had several issues almost every single time I’ve logged in even with verification the codes and selecting the check box to trust my device.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Yet another IT issue making the company look bad

*2026-08-15, version 7.29.0*

The simple password reset feature doesn’t work right. This basic IT function is necessary for self service situations and patients can’t use their paid benefit without it which breeds numerous questions.

### 1/5 — Douglas

*2026-08-14, version 7.29.0*

I went for my annual check up with my primary care doctor and was charged for this. Annual check up is supposed to not be charged. BCBS said we probably talked about something other than my annual check up that is absolutely ridiculous, isn’t that the whole point of having a primary care doctor that you would let them know what’s going on with your health!!
I’ve never had this problem before and always discussed my current health.

### 1/5 — Constant issues

*2026-08-12, version 7.28.1*

I don’t use this app often but when I do always has issues with logging in, then recently got an email that says my email was changed even though I never requested it. Trying to get help is such a hassle. As a member who also works in a provider office would think this would function and operate better so things can be viewed properly and without issues every time. I finally was able to get in touch with support and just had my whole account unregistered so I can re-register because there were so many issues!

### 1/5 — Disabled veteran working full time insurance not paying for claims

*2026-08-06, version 7.28.1*

*2026-08-02, version 7.28.1*

Though there is list of doctors, either address are not updated or sometimes doctors are not available

### 1/5 — Poor Customer Service

*2026-07-30, version 7.28.1*

BCBS TX is consistently poor in being helpful and responsive to customers.

### 1/5 — Missing important information

*2026-07-08, version 7.27.0*

When checking my coverage, this app is lacking. Important details. It has disclaimers like: “This is a high-level review. See your plan for more details.”

### 1/5 — stuff isn’t correct on the app

*2026-07-06, version 7.27.0*
