### 2/5 — Faulty charges and bike stations always empty

*2026-07-15, version 5.10.5*

Randomly charging my account for bikes i didnt use and lots of other issues to the point that i reach out to customer service about twice a week. The customer support does eventually resolve it with no additional charges, however it takes about half an hour and is unreliable. Also many of the bike stations are frequently empty. They need to do a better distribution of the bikes between the stations.

### 3/5 — Faulty charges

### 1/5 — US Phone Numbers Only

*2026-06-23*

Embarrassing fault for cities using this app. They promote themselves as pro-urbanist to the world and sadly only allow those with US phone numbers to use the bikes. So useless

### 1/5 — Beware

*2026-05-25, version 5.9.1*

This company overcharged two people from my group yesterday. One of them was accused of “vandalizing” an already broken bike dock and was subsequently charged 105 for a two hour bike ride (that should only be $30)that they refused to refund to her. Another was using their card and the app wouldn’t accept it so another person from our group had to buy a second pass for them to ride. And somehow their original card was charged the $15 for their bike ride they never got. This company has refused to acknowledge this was an issue on their part, and has refused to refund any money to those they overcharged in the group. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE, because they made it very clear they are scammers who do not care about having integrity or responsibility in their business model or for their customers.

### 1/5 — Forgets your account / Bikes Not Charged

*2026-05-25, version 5.9.1*

This was our first time using this. My recommendation is used Uber bikes from now on. We signed in did multiple multiple confirmation that we were legit. Started to run a bike, but the bikes at the stand we’re all on zero charge. So we went to the next set of bikes about half mile away. Only to find that the Apple would not recognize the password. I have a password program so I did not forget my password. Didn’t matter how often I tried to reset the password, I never got any emails never got any confirmations. It was a waste of time. This obviously is a junkie system which nobody really cares about. So don’t waste your time as I said, go with Uber instead for your bikes.

### 1/5 — Glitches and never loads

*2026-05-24, version 5.9.1*

Glitches and never loads in area where I have ample service available. While waiting for it to loading the app will just quit.

### 1/5 — Stolen money

*2026-05-24, version 5.9.1*

Trash app

### 2/5 — Bad experience

*2026-05-18, version 5.9.1*

We rode these bikes once and the experience was okay. We went to ride them again for a second time a few days later, and when we tried to dock them it wouldn’t show on the app that that bike was available, and we couldn’t get it unlocked. we then had to “walk” to the next docking station, because at that next station it showed a bike was available. Once we got there it was doing the same thing. So we ended up paying the one ride that was $7.xx. Once we arrived to the first station we got the bikes from, we returned our bikes and ensured they “clicked” in for good connection and the apps said they were returned, but I check my email the day after, and it says my account is being charged because my bike was not returned.

### 1/5 — App has way too many bugs

*2026-05-17, version 5.9.1*

App has entirely too many bugs especially when involving people’s money. Wouldn’t sent a verification code to my email after trying several times. Signed up with a different email, logged in, got to the payment portion and the app froze. Opened the app back up and entered the EXACT same email and password and it said my info was invalid. Idk who the app developer is but please get a new one. I was with a group of 5 people and I had to wait on them to ride because this app was doing the absolute most…well actually nothing because it took me through all this time and trouble just for me to be left out.

### 1/5 — Ridiculously inaccurate on open spots and available bikes

*2026-05-16, version 5.9.1*

Bike availability to rent and open spots are ridiculously inaccurate. You’ll be walking around trying to find a bike or riding back to your original dock becuase of how out of date they keep this app.

### 1/5 — The app will glitch and you will get blamed

*2026-05-15, version 5.9.1*

Avoid if possible. The app glitches once a day and produces an error message. And won’t let you get the bike. You’ll then be charged hours later for “not returning the bike” you must go back and send a picture. When you call in, you’ll get someone with a circa 90s phone and you’ll hear every third word. Just walk

### 1/5 — Useless!!

*2026-05-13, version 5.9.1*

Nowhere to create an account so there’s nowhere to sign in? What’s the point??

### 1/5 — Left me stranded

*2026-05-03, version 5.9.1*

The only reason there’s one star up is because I have to click on some thing but just saying your guys app is very sloppy for some reason it will not send me a confirmation code for nothing. I plan to use one of your guys’s bikes and because it doesn’t work, I have missed an appointment screwing me over. I would recommend not counting on this company for nothing.

### 1/5 — Fraud?

*2026-04-27, version 5.9.1*

I rented a bike for 30 minutes in Santa Barbara. I returned the bike after ten minutes. I get an email an hour later threatening me that they’ll charge me for the cost of the entire ebike bc they think I had not returned it. I RETURNED IT AFTER TEN MINUTES . Emailing them back bounced and they were crazy rude over text. I could not delete my credit card in for from the app. What a SCAM!!!!!!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — App sucks

*2026-08-22, version 5.11.0*

Yes it’s very convenient sometimes but I swear half the time there is a bike at a station the app just won’t let me take it

### 1/5 — It just doesn’t work

*2026-07-25, version 5.10.5*

I have tried it twice now and when I try to unlock a bike it just thinks for a while and then it says

Checkout error

I already brought 3 $10 passes to try to get this to work but it just isn’t happening.

### 1/5 — Scammers

*2026-07-25, version 5.10.5*

I bought a bike ride yesterday and I went inside somewhere for a couple of minutes and when I came back outside my bike was gone. There was no way for me to lock the bike. I only paid for 2 hours for $15. But now they are trying to charge me $75 because the guy that took my bike was going on a joy ride. There was literally no way for me to cancel anything on the app. I only agreed to pay $15 for 2 hours the bike should have stopped charging me after 2 Hours!

### 1/5 — The worst

*2026-07-24, version 5.10.5*

Just got an account today to be able to bike home after work due to car issues. Since the start everything has been riddled with issues. First the app didn’t want to register my account because I had a bike open from 2021 (?), finally got a bike unlocked only for it to have no pedal assist. Docked it at another station to get another bike which also did not have pedal assist. Tried to dock that bike and none of the stations would take it. Called customer service basically only to be told if the bikes left out it’s my fault and I would be charged, only to then be hung up on. Turned what was supposed to be a breezy afternoon trip home into a major headache. I don’t recommend.

### 1/5 — Only available for US phone numbers

*2026-07-13, version 5.10.5*

Couldnt set up my a ccount because the app wont send the verification code to phone numbers outside the US

### 1/5 — App is busted. Totally f-ed up

*2026-07-09, version 5.10.5*

This app is practically useless and needs to be rebuilt from the ground up. It is sad that this is the only way to use the shared bikes in Madison. Fix it!!! Freezes over and over and over.

### 1/5 — Slow, glitchy app

*2026-07-07, version 5.10.5*

Needs updated every other day and never improves. Miserable to use

### 1/5 — Unprofessional and overcharged me $75

*2026-06-29, version 5.10.3*

Took my information down when I talked to customer service representative. Gave him my phone my email and then hung up saying a farewell message that was very distasteful and not for the workplace.

### 1/5 — Verification doesn’t not work

*2026-06-28, version 5.10.3*

Send me the freaking verification code for my phone number is so annoying, I tried many times, checked my spam and everything

### 1/5 — Glitchy

*2026-06-27, version 5.10.3*

Couldn’t take a cycle home after work because the app thought I had 4 checked out. Then it wouldn’t let me take the bike I tried to unlock, but the app thought I had it- so I had to deal with customer service to avoid extra charges. Ended up taking the bus. Regretting spending the money on the monthly.

### 5/5 — Upgrades People, Upgrades

*2026-08-10, version 5.10.5*

If you don’t have an e-bike or bicycle this can be a real game changer!! They just opened up stations in Longmont, and they’re all over central Boulder. You can take advantage of the beautiful bike paths or daily commute to a lot of areas. Sure it’s not perfect, but they’re always friendly and pretty quick to fix issues. Besides, not having this option would be a real bummer. 5 stars

### 5/5 — Best Hack Ever

*2026-07-24, version 5.10.5*

For $30 you can ride all over Santa Barbara for a week or a month. Such a great way to go.

### 5/5 — Bad

*2026-07-07, version 5.10.5*

Genuinely a horrible experience. I don’t know how many times I’ve been at a rack with 5+ bikes and the app says none are available. I’m ashamed part of my tuition goes to this.
We

### 5/5 — Great decision worth it

*2026-07-07*

As visitors, renting these bikes was one of the best decisions we made in Santa Barbara. The day pass was a good value, and the bikes were always available, in good condition, and powerful enough for the gentle hills. The lights at night also made us feel safe riding after dark.
The docking stations are so well placed that we were never far from one, making it incredibly easy to explore the city. We rented them on the Fourth of July to avoid traffic and parking, and they completely made our day. Even with busy docks, we were able to figure it out.
Santa Barbara is such a bike friendly city, and this was one of the highlights of our trip. We'd absolutely recommend them to anyone visiting and will definitely use them again.

### 5/5 — Great July 4th customer support!

*2026-07-05, version 5.10.5*

Couldn’t figure out how to get things going and off the locked bike rack. Called the support #. Guy picked up on second ring and got us going. Pretty impressive, especially on a major holiday.

### 5/5 — Good

*2026-06-18, version 5.10.3*

Rob gave me a discount. That’s all that needs to be said. Thank you

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2026-04-16, version 5.9.1*

My favorite part of visiting Santa Barbara is undocking from one of the dozens of bcycle stations available then redocking in another location. Such a convenient way to soak up the city. No issues with any of the bikes I’ve ridden. Rates are very reasonable.

### 5/5 — App keeps crashing

*2026-04-01, version 5.9.1*

Just downloaded the app so I could rent a bike for the day and once downloaded the app crashes rating 5 stars to get attention!!!!!!!

### 5/5 — so fun, so convenient

*2024-10-20, version 5.3.0*

My boyfriend got to ride all around town & explore for a low price. These could not have been easier. I wish they had a shorter pass option. I don’t need a day pass, just hourly.

### 5/5 — Austin vacation

*2024-06-22, version 4.1.4*

What a great way to see the city. The App is very user friendly and multiple locations to find bikes.
