## What is Bday Wishes?

Bday Wishes makes sure you never miss a birthday, and makes the day itself feel like more than a calendar ping.

Keep everyone in one calm place. Import from Contacts or add people by hand. Get a gentle reminder on the day, or a few days early if you want time to plan.

When the day comes, open a celebration card built from their photo, write one line to remember the year, and watch the memories stack up birthday after birthday. It even wishes you on your own day.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.5.0 — 2026-07-08

Birthday cards are photos now. Open someone's birthday and you'll see a real photo with their name on it, like candles, a bouquet, or a sparkler. Pick the one that fits them, or let it change every year. There are a few hand drawn ones too, like a golden hour sky and a starry night.

### 1.3.1 — 2026-06-19

You can choose the card now. Open anyone's birthday, tap Card style, and pick the keepsake they get. There are more than thirty designs, from a pressed flower to an instant photo, a boarding pass, a wax-sealed letter. Or choose Random and let it surprise you each year. Whatever you pick is the card you share and the one waiting in their reminder.

Sharing finally works the way it should: the card goes out as an image that opens right in the chat, in your color, instead of a file nobody taps.

The app opens like instant film now. It ejects, settles a little crooked, and develops in your hands. If you've set a profile photo, that's the one that comes up in the frame.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-06-16

You can choose the card now. Open anyone's birthday, tap Card style, and pick the keepsake they get -> there are more than thirty designs, from a pressed flower to an instant photo, a paint chip, a boarding pass, a wax-sealed letter. Or choose Random and let it surprise you each year. Whatever you pick is the card you share and the one waiting in their reminder.

Sharing works the way it always should have: the card goes out as an image that opens right in the chat, in your color -> not a file nobody taps.

And the app opens like instant film now -> it ejects, settles a little crooked, and develops in your hands.

### 1.2.1 — 2026-06-08

our own birthday gets the keepsake card now too -> turns out we'd been celebrating everyone but you. And sharing actually works the way it should: a card goes out as an image that opens right there in the chat, in whatever color you've set, instead of arriving as a file nobody taps.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-06-08

The birthday card is new -> full-screen now, and no two people get the same one. Open someone's birthday and it becomes a keepsake: a pressed-flower specimen, an instant photo, a letterpress poster. The people you've lost get a quieter card of their own.

Year Recap and Lock Screen widgets are here too.
