## What is Be InterConnected?

Interconnected is the private community app for the women of Interconnected Ministries. It's where the conversation carries on between gatherings.

Membership is by invitation. The ministry creates your account, so there is no public sign-up, and nothing here is visible outside the community.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Keep up with everyone
See the week's message from the ministry and what other members are sharing. Add a photo or a few words of your own, and reply to anyone.

Talk to the people you know
Message a friend one to one, or keep up with the circles you belong to in their own rooms.

Know what's coming
Browse the calendar of gatherings, open one to see the details, and say whether you'll be there. You'll see which of your friends are going too.

Find other members
Browse the directory and ask someone to be friends, so the women you met in person are easy to find again.

Decide what people see
Your photo, your surname, your state and the circles you're in are each a separate switch. Your street address is never shown to anyone.

Choose what reaches your phone
Turn on notifications for the things you care about and leave the rest in the app.

YOUR SAFETY

You can block another member at any time.
You can report anything that doesn't belong, and a person on the team reads it.
You can delete your account from inside the app — and it is genuinely deleted, not hidden.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.3.0 — 2026-10-02

Be InterConnected 1.3 makes it easier to bring a friend in, and easier to decide how you show up.

- New members start with a private username, and can keep it or choose their own while signing up.
- Message options now shows your username and lets you change it, along with what Friends and other members see.
- Be invited to a Table and say yes right from your notifications.
- Group chats can have a leader, a photo and a description.
- Clearer wording throughout the app, chosen with our team.
- Smoother typing and photo uploads, and many smaller fixes.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-09-21

Be InterConnected 1.2 is a big one. Connect is rebuilt, and inviting a friend is finally simple.

Invite a friend in two taps. Show her a one time code to scan when you are together, or text her a link. She fills in a short form, confirms her email, and she is in.
Connect is one inbox. Your chats, your tables and your group chats sit together, and the search looks inside your messages, not just the names.
Make your own group chats, with the people you choose.
Type @ in a chat or a reply to tag someone, and they will know you said their name.
Tidy your inbox: clear what you have finished with, and keep what you have not.
Tables wear the artwork of the gatherings they hold, and coming to a gathering invites you to join its table.
On Gather, each row tells you whether it is already on your calendar, and takes it off again if you change your mind.
Choose how you appear: what your friends see, what other members see, and your name in a gathering.
Quiet hours can be turned off, if you would rather hear from us any time.
Times follow the phone you are holding, so a gathering reads right wherever you are.
Report a group, and leave it in the same breath.
Smaller fixes throughout.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-09-10

Be InterConnected 1.1 brings a few things members asked for.

• Edit a post after you share it, and fix a typo without starting over.
• React to replies, not just posts.
• Hold your own post on Home to copy, edit or delete it, right where it is.
• Messages from the ministry: the team can send a community message straight to your phone. You choose whether to hear them in You › Notifications.
• Notifications now say which conversation a message came from.
• Links you share show whether they're one of ours, a site the team has verified, or an outside site, and you always see the full address before you go.
• Smaller fixes throughout, including the emoji keyboard and the keyboard staying out of the way while you type.
