Looking for something to fill that gaping, long-necked, four-legged hole within me, I turned to a game I had heard of that was similar. If your story is similar to this, I suggest you turn back now, because “Be Like a Giraffe” is not the quality game you’re searching for. “Be Like a Giraffe” tries so hard to be “Like a Dino”, down to the font, shape of the animal, and music. It even tries to recreate the story told through the music while still missing the point. There are dino skins in this game named Dino and Dina, which is ripped directly from the far superior “Like a Dino”. It is, frankly, upsetting to see “Like a Dino” being riffed on, especially when it was created by a small-time creator as a passion project, just for other people to go and steal their idea. If you’ve come here to find something new and replace “Like a Dino”, don’t bother trying and stick with what works, and if you’ve come in search of a new game without having played either in the past, head over to “Like a Dino” instead. It is better quality, and is created by a small creator who needs your support. All I have for this forgettable rehash is 1 star.
