Always updating and never improving. ### 2/5 — Slow app *2023-11-28* The app is really slow . Half the time it just sits there and spins have to remove and reload app to get work orders. This app doesn’t update at all and is all kinds of dumpster-fireness going on. ### 2/5 — 20 years behind the de facto standards for apps *2022-06-07* Swipe to go back would be a huge improvement. I use two different accounts, one works great and the other is a total lemon. It “updates” constantly and won’t let you log back in of you log out. I’ve had to delete and reinstall multiple times. It’s just slow, crashes, and is not intuitive in any way, shape, or form. Good luck. I have to use it because that’s what my company uses. If I didn’t have to, I wouldn’t open it again and never look back. ### 3/5 — Building operator *2021-04-15, version 3.16.0* Frequency cannot be edited particularly for the RTU Regular PM should be quarterly and the annual but the templates required monthly. This is extremely annoying as I cannot see what I’m typing./also when I’m typing a comment on my phone it crashes and I lose everything I typed!! You have to close the app out and go back into the app in order for acknowledgment, time or comments to process. This is never been resolved even after reporting it. I resorted to using the web version so I can process my work orders. ### 1/5 — Not a good app, plain and simple. *2018-07-16, version 3.11.0* Ever try to hammer a screw? It’ll work yes, but finding a screwdriver will make your life much easier. This app hammers screws. ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2018-07-06, version 3.11.0* The majority of the time when having to use the app on my phone it is nothing but a time waster. It is totally useless when uploading pictures as it takes forever. My latest experience took almost 36 hours to upload 9 pictures. The repeated excuses from your IT Dept is the strength of the internet connection is bad which is nonsense. It does not matter if I am on Wifi or the network and I drive for miles it is still usually worthless. If I can send an email with 8 pictures and it gets sent at the same time then there’s nothing wrong with the connection. It also has its issues on my laptop occasionally but is not as bad as the phone app. I do not use it by choice as it is required by my job. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Why Does this App even Exist *2024-06-17* For some odd reason I’m constantly needing to switch over to my laptop to actually access Building Engine. On the slim chance the app actually works it’s just not user friendly and simplistic to close and access work orders. Not very productive if you have to repeat over and over ### 1/5 — Horrible *2023-01-26* Since mid last year an update was implemented that has completely screwed up the operation of the be mobile app. There tech support NEVER responds. And when they do it’s weeks if not months later and then you don’t hear from them again EVER until you submit yet another ticket. Which in most cases you won’t get a response to. Just a huge headache and a waste of time. What a horrible way to screw up something that worked flawlessly for the first few years we had Building Engines incorporated in our Building. Now it’s useless and a huge waste of time when originally this was a big time saver. Such a shame. If you complete work orders or inspection reports on the app, it does not complete the tasks when you log into your account on the website. The desktop won’t allow editing ad well once the work order is created. The more the app can do the better. Thanks to this app I can now keep track of all my PM's right from my IPhone and do live PM runs on the go. This eliminates the huge paper trail from daily rounds and also keeps it neatly organized. I have had work order go in the red due to the app not refreshing. It's a great app. That's all it's missing.
