Be Native is now also available on the Mac App Store, and this update brings the biggest set of improvements since launch. NEW: NOTES FOR DEVELOPERS A new Notes tab replaces the old notebooks. Keep video notes with timestamps, code snippets, skills, resources, and free-form notes, organized in folders, written in Markdown, and shareable as text. Create up to 10 notes without an account; sign in for unlimited notes synced across your devices. The Notes tab in the player no longer requires a subscription. EXPLAIN THIS CODE WITH APPLE INTELLIGENCE Tap the Apple Intelligence button on any code snippet to get a formatted explanation generated on your device. PLAYER • Switching the audio or subtitle language now switches the transcription too, and the app remembers your choice ("Last chosen" in Settings). • Transcription with continuous highlighting, no stray ellipses, and larger text. • The empty Code tab is now centered. CONTENT • Redesigned favorites lists. • iPad: new full-bleed banners in What's New and Learning that collapse as you scroll. • Posts: newsletters have their own section at the top. • Latest Videos shows two videos per playlist, plus a new Top Podcasts row. • Completed and "New" badges on cards. • Your name and profile photo now sync across devices. ACCESSIBILITY AND PERFORMANCE • Better contrast in the paywall and badges, Dynamic Type in the transcription and filters, Reduce Motion respected everywhere, VoiceOver headings, and larger tap targets on code buttons. • Smoother scrolling with lighter images and lazy lists. FIXES Podcast player colors in light and dark mode, the stacked sheet on the favorite button, filter chips tappable across their whole area, vertical scrolling in Insights, the first Learning row on iPad, duplicated "My Notes" notebooks merged, and the Support form now attaches a diagnostic report so we can help you faster.
