Welcome to the Beacon Lighting Live Brighter App Wouldn’t it be great to see how the lights you love will look in your home before you buy them? Now you can! With our app, you can browse through our huge product range and see how a design or colour you like will look in your home. Then simply click on the shopping cart to make your purchase. This inspiring technology lets you choose a particular light or ceiling fan, take a pic of the room you want it to go in and check out how it looks in the space. You can even share your room design on Facebook, Instagram or email. It’s a great way to see how that new pendant, lamp, chandelier or ceiling fan is going to look in your home. Here’s how it works: 1. Press the product finder and select the product you want try out (the picture is not a true representation of the actual product size, so make sure you check out the product specs before you buy) 2. Select Go Live and take a picture of your room or select an image from your gallery 3. Go to the camera view and see your chosen product 4. Then you re-size and position the product in your space 5. You can’t insert more than one item into an image. You have to save the image to your camera roll and then reopen the image which would be an ok workaround except it saves the image in the lowest res you have ever seen. Which also then means it undergoes generation loss and by the second save the image is a blurry mess. The augmented reality “show I’m my room” also does not work. Firstly it’s asks you to scan a QR code which is on your screen… so you have to screenshot it and try open it using a workaround in a browser. Then you get an infinite loop of a blue circle which never loads. The instructions aren’t even clear either even it did work. “Slowly turn phone is circles” Don’t download this slop. I’ll be buying my lights from Ali express which is much cheaper anyway. ### 2/5 — Only good for placing a fixture in a room photo *2024-08-15, version 1.5* Great idea, but each image needs to have dimensions in the description, otherwise you need to click through to the shop website each time to get a dimension before you can place it in the room pic so that it looks the right size. Otherwise, I'm very happy with app. Don't understand what the complaints are from some reviewers. Products fail and you get no support. My advise is use their outlets as showrooms, find the products online and then purchase from China, that’s all they do anyway.
