Turnout is the member app for fire departments that use FireHUD station alerting from Beacon ESS. When your department is dispatched, your phone knows too. ALERT • Each dispatch comes in with its own alert tone, and it breaks through Focus modes • Turnout can read the call type and address out loud, so you don't have to look at your phone on the way out • The full dispatch text from the county is one tap away RESPOND • Tap Responding and choose the station or the scene • Everyone sees who's coming and about how far out they are • Tap Arrived, or let Turnout mark you arrived when you get there HYDRANTS AND WATER SUPPLY • Hydrants near the call on the map, colored by flow • Report a hydrant that's out of service ALSO IN TURNOUT • A map of the last 24 hours of calls • Messages between members • Announcements from your officers • The department calendar, apparatus status and weather alerts • Your own response history and the department roster YOUR LOCATION Turnout uses your location only while you're responding, to show your arrival time and mark you arrived. It stops as soon as you arrive or cancel. The rest of the time, it doesn't track you. Turnout requires an account from a department that uses FireHUD. Your officers create member accounts and choose which call types alert which members. A Beacon ESS program of Beacon Mid-Atlantic. ## Is Beacon Turnout safe?
