## What is Beagan?

Learn Scottish Gaelic in five minutes a day.

Beagan (Gaelic for "a little") gives you short daily lessons: a few words, each with its meaning and a recording to play, then a quick set of questions. Words you miss come back sooner. Words you know come back later. The Today screen shows how many are due.

HOW IT WORKS
- 25 short lessons over 5 weeks, from Halò and Madainn mhath to numbers, colours, animals and weather.
- 113 words and phrases, every one with a recording. Play it at normal or slow speed.
- Listen and pick, read and pick: short questions that fit in a spare five minutes.
- Spaced review: Beagan schedules each word to come back just before you would forget it.
- A Words list and a short sound guide for the letters and accents.

SIMPLE AND PRIVATE
- Weeks 1 and 2 (42 words) are free.
- One purchase, Complete, unlocks weeks 3 to 5. No subscription, no trial.
- No ads, no account, no tracking. Works offline. Your progress stays on your device.

SOUND
The word recordings come from the LearnGaelic dictionary (learngaelic.scot) and are used with permission.

Beagan is an independent app and is not affiliated with LearnGaelic or any school.
