What makes this even worse is that I had already left the city where I was using the scooters, and it was impossible for me to cancel this subscription through the app. The system is poorly designed: not only is the subscription activated without clear and explicit consent, but it also becomes impossible to manage once you change location. It strongly feels like an intentionally opaque system. On top of that, the service is very expensive for what it offers. Even with a monthly subscription, the included riding time is very limited. I had to pay additional fees on top of my subscription because I ran out of minutes, making the offer even less worthwhile. I find this unacceptable. I am tired of apps that push automatic subscriptions without clear disclosure and make them difficult, if not impossible, to cancel.
