I would like the shipments be spread out. This review is more for the app than the service. The app needs further development so that you are able to search for the coffees that you like, view the coffees that would be in your upcoming box, view any coffees you’ve received in the past (most of the coffees in the “my coffee” section are not what I have received.. head scratcher), the option to skip a month if you so choose, etc. There is a lot of room for improvement in the app and I do hope they will implement changes in the future. ### 5/5 — Simple yet lots of selection info *2022-02-12, version 2.5* I’m a BB customer. On a recent order, I made a mistake when ordering and their follow-up via email was instantaneous. I normally bought about one 8oz bag per month at the grocery store which is about $10. Sometimes they’re out of the kind I liked and the coffee was fine. God forbid I have to use a Keurig or the mainstream brands you see on TV. With bean box there’s plenty of affordable options that raise my monthly cost to about $18-$20 per month… but the coffee is noticeably better than what you get at the grocery store. And it gets delivered to my front door in a few days. If you like coffee, ever just marginally, you need to give Bean Box a try. ### 4/5 — Decent app, looking forward to updates! *2022-01-08, version 2.5* I like the layout of the app and do find it fairly easy to navigate. I understand some things came be done on here and have to be managed on the website, which is totally fine. Unfortunately, the coffees I received aren’t the ones that are shown as what I received in my first box (luckily I like what i received more so than what is shown that I received) but I wish there was an easy way to edit that so I can keep track. My sister got the subscription for me as a Christmas gift. However, I’m unable to even open the app. I’ve tried restarting my phone and deleting & redownloading the app, and nothing seems to help - as soon as I tap the icon, it crashes instantly. Hopefully the app will work in the future. ### 2/5 — Coffee is great but customer service is terrible *2022-03-14, version 2.5* The coffee is great and I enjoyed my subscription for a long time with no problem. Then last week I received an email from customer service saying there was a problem with my payment. I checked my card and found no problem on my end so I responded as such. The customer service representative continued to insist that there was a problem and told me that I needed to check my available funds. Not to be rude but it was also very obvious that English is not this person’s first language. I told them to just cancel my subscription. This company obviously doesn’t care about their customers judging by the poor customer service. I’ve never been so disappointed. ### 2/5 — Decent coffee, terrible app. *2022-01-22, version 2.5* As far as an all goes, this is terrible. I’m looking for Guatemala coffees, since they are my favorite. You would think that an app specifically for people trying to order coffee would have handy features like a search bar? How about a menu tab to search by region? Nope neither of them. So instead of being convenient, and allowing me to use the app to do what it’s supposed to do, I have to sort through 6 different menu tabs and and a horrible sorting system to try and find the 3-4 coffees they carry that I’m actually interested in buying. The coffee delivery sample pack is such a fun thing to look forward to, I just wish the app would allow me to access my subscription and personalize/rate my coffee. ### 3/5 — BEAN BOX GREAT PLACE TO GET COFFEE *2024-05-20, version 3.1* I came upon Bean Box thru my purchase of an new Breville Espresso machine because my last one finally quit after 8 years. Long enough i think. So I found the same one at an awesome price on Amazon with payments with no interest. Anyhow Bean Box had an ad where you can purchase so many bags and you can get money back. Also two free bags of espresso which they sent they were very good. I got a grinder so I could grind my own beans which was cool. I looked into signed up for a monthly subscription. I realize that I am never going to use up two bags in a month so I contacted them and they were very nice about me canceling the communication was nicely done and fast. I got my one bag I ordered along with a free bag. I still am still going to order my bags when I am getting close to running out. I love so many choices to pick from so I can try different brands. My favorites are still loaded, but now I am getting a cleaner HOME page instead of a few “new coffee” slides.
