## What is bean?

The door slams. The homework sits untouched. The tantrum arrives out of nowhere — again.

Those "misbehaving" moments are exhausting. But behind almost every one of them is a need that hasn't been seen yet.

bean helps you see it. After a hard moment with your child, it sits with you in a calm, non-judgmental conversation and helps you look back: what actually happened? What might your child have been trying to say? And what was going on in you?

Built on Positive Discipline, bean helps you —
· untangle the feelings first, so you can think clearly
· understand the real need behind your child's behavior (not just who was "right")
· land on one small, concrete thing you could try as soon as tomorrow

When the conversation ends, bean gives you two things:
· A mirror letter — a short letter that reflects back what you said and what you care about, so you feel seen too
· An action card — one specific direction to try, written for your child and your situation

A few days later, bean checks in: "how did it go?" Not to grade you — just to look at it together.

And every Sunday, it helps you look back on the week: what happened between you and your child, and the moments where something in you shifted.

bean isn't only for conflicts. Trying to understand a phase your child is going through, bracing for something coming up, weighing a decision about your kid, or just needing to sort out your own feelings — bring any of it.

What bean will never do:
· It's not a therapist or a pediatrician — it doesn't diagnose, and it doesn't replace professional help
· It won't make your family's big decisions for you
· It won't judge whether you're a "good parent" — there's no such scorecard
