## What is Bearing Jot?

We don't need another social media app. We need a place to be honest with ourselves.

Bearing modernizes the lost art of journaling. Instead of a blank page, you get a focused
one-minute check-in: pick an emotion, rate its intensity, tag what's behind it, and write
a thought if you want to. Do it daily and something starts to happen. You will begin to see
  yourself clearly.

HOW IT WORKS
Open the app. Check in with how you're feeling. Done. That's the whole habit. Over time,
your check-ins become data and Bearing turns that data into something useful.

  INSIGHTS THAT ACTUALLY MEAN SOMETHING
Bearing reads your patterns and tells you what it finds. Which days are hardest. What
areas of your life drive your best moods. Whether this week was better than last. You
don't have to dig through old entries. The patterns surface themselves.

  MOMENTS (INSTANT RECALL)
Your most meaningful check-ins, ranked and ready. The day you felt proud after a hard
conversation. The morning you woke up grateful. Bearing remembers what you wrote and
surfaces it when you need it. Critical moments in your life, never lost in a feed.

  STREAKS & SHIELDS
A simple streak keeps you showing up. Miss a day? Use a shield to pick up where you left
off. 3 per month. No guilt. Just consistency.

  REPORTS
Generate a visual breakdown of any period, emotions, patterns, calendar heatmap, streaks.
Download it as a PDF. Share it with a therapist, a coach, or keep it for yourself.

  PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
No followers. No likes. No algorithm deciding what you should feel. Your data is yours —
encrypted, deletable, and never sold. Bearing exists for one person: you.

Bearing is not a medical device and is not a substitute for professional mental health
care. If you're in crisis, contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
