I randomly couldn’t upgrade any of my towers. I would like to see more information on mobs and towers. The tutorial said I could tap on mobs to see details but it didn’t work when setting up the level. Maybe that’s coming later or another bug? Some of my towers also sell themselves randomly? Lots of bugs need to be fixed in this game. I seem to have run out of battle tickets but there isn’t any info on these. I can’t see how many I have or how I get more? I’m left wondering if they are valuable or not. Maybe I’ll check back in a few months to see if the big issues have been addressed. ### 3/5 — A few minor bugs *2020-05-19, version 1.2.0* I love TD games, and this one seems to have a LOT of potential, however there are a few minor things that need to be looked at. The one that gets me most is that the difficulty ramps up a bit quick even on the “easy” levels, yet it becomes entirely difficult to upgrade your cards due to lack of upgrade material. Second, once I got to the second chapter (icy plains) NONE of my towers or heroes could attack any of the monsters. Not a single one. So there is now no way for me to progress in the game. It has led to me losing interest in playing. The enemies not dying in the daily dungeon was another one of the things that I was going to point out because it makes it impossible to collect rewards when you have done everything you can. I’m glad to see that was fixed and can not wait to try again. I hope to see the minor bugs worked out so that I can give a five star review in the future. **Developer response:** We apologize if the game is unable perform well as of the moment. Need better graphics and in game balance to , more info on towers how they are use and if it’s AoE or not . I found out the hard way. ### 2/5 — Possible bug *2020-05-08, version 1.1.2* I started the game and finished the tutorial when I got a text I went to answer it and when I got back to the game the hud where I could pick levels open chests and everything was gone I could watch a ad to get a free chest but that’s it ### 2/5 — Have to really try *2020-05-08, version 1.1.2* I’m really having to try really hard to like this game, it’s a game, I shouldn’t have to do that. I have 452 gems and I’m getting an error purchasing the x10 premium battle chest saying insufficient gems, want to go to the store to purchase more? to be fair, I might be the first to get this far due to all the bugs and updates. ### 2/5 — Not Ready *2020-05-06, version 1.1.1* There are several screens at the beginning that you can’t escape during the tutorial. The ramp up in difficulty seems too fast. I play a lot of TD games, and I’m stuck on level 1-1-6. The explanations of enemy weaknesses don’t exist, so I’m probably doing something wrong. Tried 5 combinations of the few towers available. Maybe it will be good when the devs work on it a little more. ### 1/5 — Too difficult poor gameplay *2020-05-06, version 1.1.0* Game was broken on release day which is just bad. It seems fixed now. Too difficult at start, has some potential but needs a lot of work. At easy level, 3 star levels should be easy for the first several stages until you build up your troops, it is not. Gameplay is a bit sluggish. TBH will most likely uninstall because it isn’t as good a tower defense game and I lack confidence in a developer that releases a game that dies on the first day. ### 1/5 — Would give 0 if I could *2020-05-06, version 1.1.0* Waited about 2 months for this game on preorder for it to just be smashed with bugs soo many bugs that I could not do the tutorial ? Really ? Then after I skipped it I couldebt compleat the first mission BECAUSE i could not click anything did you not check the game before you released it ? Oh and one more thing LOOT BOXES + engery for a tower defense game is extremely stupid and no one would give money for that do your self a favor take out the engery ramp up difficulty and make loot boxes a good investment for your game so people have a reason to 1 spend money and 2 spend time playing your game ### 2/5 — Guys, maybe 2 days early wasn’t the best idea. *2020-05-06, version 1.1.0* You had a may 7 date, you should have stuck to it. Everyone getting a time out error, uninstall and reinstall the app, it should work fine afterwards. As for the game, I will be posting my notes here as I play. The first thing I’ve run into is trying to determine what each hero does. Should I go by the snowflake to tell that this hero’s attacks slow enemies? How can I determine if an attack will be AOE or single target? Is it all down to experimentation? I’d rather like a more thorough breakdown of each hero’s abilities so that I can better plan for upcoming battles. Major balancing issues with damage vs health on easy. ### 1/5 — There will be bugs *2020-05-05, version 1.1.0* The battles seem to play ok, but the game hub doesn’t load correctly and I was having to force close to get through the tutorial. What I could play did not seem to flow very well as the enemies were a bit to fast for you to be able to think about where to place towers. Not great to already feel underpowered in the tutorial. ### 1/5 — Bugs...lots of bugs *2020-05-05, version 1.1.0* Downloaded the game as soon as it was ready. The game definitely showed a lot of promise. However, today, just like everyone else, that game would not open. I decided to delete the game, and reinstall it in hopes that it would fix the issue (at that moment I didn’t know everyone else was going through the same issue). Well, after having put a solid 2 hours last night, by deleting the game, I lost everything. I’m sure once the devs fix this minor issue, people will have a blast, but I’m not getting the time I placed into the game already. Also, for those complaining about the tutorial, there’s a “Skip Tutorial” button on the upper left side. I updated it and was able to start the tutorial. We will see from there... I know what the problem is with the in game issue I am having; the chests open but nothing is on screen. I tried closing and reopening and I still have the same issue. Please fix it. Thank you. ### 4/5 — Decent game and I’ve been reading reviews *2020-05-05, version 1.1.0* So first off ignore the reviews where people say they are locked or can’t win that is their own fault. I haven’t spent a penny on the game and I’m going strong. You get a tower that freezes in the tutorial it’s a legendary tower Use it if you place 3 close to each other they will kill almost everything each tower acts differently and you have to use them and see what they do. The tutorial stops with 1 step left all you have to do is play 1 more stage and done. The only issue atm is you can’t login but that will be fixed. You farm the stages upgrade towers and then melt the enemies and move on simple. If your stuck and losing change your strategy or game and upgrade its not that hard ### 1/5 — Why did I pre-order this?? *2020-05-05, version 1.1.0* So in addition to the review I wrote about this game being broken directly after it launched, I would like to say that after it did allow me to play it was complete garbage. Why did you make the enemies so OP in the very beginning? Oh wait you immediately want money, now I get it...what a joke!! It has been so long that a good tower defense game has came out the bar was set so low that this game should have been an instant classic, but clearly greed is more important and getting fast money with trash games seems to be the standard now. I also have the same problem with the request time out that others are experiencing. For those saying the game is hard, I do agree and I also noticed that you can use fireball so often that it’s almost OP. You need to build Terra because Terra can see ghost-type monsters, and he can make you other towers see them as well. ### 1/5 — Abandoned Game *2022-05-19, version 1.3.5* This game has been largely abandoned. The weekly events can no longer be completed (including Endless Dungeon). Bugs can frequently prevent the game from opening for lengths of time. The developers do not seem interested in updating/maintaining. A word of caution: hesitate before spending real money on in-app purchases. ### 1/5 — Lost all progress and purchases *2020-05-30, version 1.2.2* After many, many forced restarts the game was unresponsive. I waited a week with no update and no support, so I deleted and reinstalled the app. I lost ALL my progress and in app purchases. I was level 50, had a lot of 20+ legendary cards. All gone, game doesn’t save, there is no support. I’m done, give me my money back. If only I could get back the time I wasted on this garbage cash grab. ### 1/5 — Unplayable still *2020-05-27, version 1.2.1* One major bug (when you collect the daily calendar rewards about 30 plus times) it puts up a invisible one. You can click past it but then no world boss cards so you might as well not waste you’re time here till they fix it. They give you no comp for you’re loss just apologies witch in the end means nothing for you’re time lost. ### 1/5 — Bugs even worse *2020-05-18, version 1.2.0* I actually like the game and concept. At first there were a few bugs and the developer worked through them. The game was actually working as promised. I spent a little money to help support since I liked it. This last update messed something up horribly. There is a ghost screen hidden when I log in. Through trial and error, figured out it is the daily reward but invisible. If I click right spot it closes. I am able to play, but endless mode and quest don’t function. Those are a big part of game. The game was not as fun as I was hoping for. The enemies are lighting fast. Getting 3 stars beyond the tutorial is nearly impossible. ***UPDATE*** So I downloaded the game again (had to start over — that sucked). I could tell improvements has been made. However, the improvements were few and far between. The enemies in the first 3 levels were significantly slower — which made them easier to defeat. After that though...not so much. They immediately tapped into their Barry Allen speed force abilities come level 4 just like before. 3 starring levels is once again impossible. Another complaint is that you cannot upgrade the gear on your main hero. Even when you have the required supplies. That is infuriating to me. Remove the option to even do it if you can’t fix it. The gameplay is just straight boring and it looks like it was made years ago. Not to mention half the reviews seem to already be fake five stars and the app still doesn’t have a rating on the app store with all the reviews given making it look extremely shady. ### 1/5 — App won’t launch past a screen that just says notification *2020-05-08, version 1.1.1* I have a screen that pops up when I open the app that just says notification and my only option says ok. When I click it it takes me to the App Store. I’m on the current version and it prompts me to open the game in the App Store. I even preordered this game and I can’t play it. ### 1/5 — Unpolished pile of greed *2020-05-07, version 1.1.1* Broken on release. Updated and now there’s bugs in the tutorial. Notch somewhat not accounted for. Asking and incentivizing players to spend money before the tutorial is over is just not cool. Energy per play based game with cards as units, spells, and towers. Games wants you to watch ads before every battle. I just finished the tutorial and even got to 1-1-7 and so far there is not really much special. It’s just a tower defense game. What else is there to be said. The thing that makes this one better is that it’s free but like... seriously you can buy another TD game for a few bucks. If you want a slightly better tower defense I would recommend BTD6. It’s more pleasing to the eye. If this game had some more pleasing graphics, like if they poured melted peach ice cream all over the game, gave it a Snapchat filter, and then topped it off with a gloss, I guess I would play it. For now I’m sticking with the balloon tower defense series. If your wonder why I rated it 5 stars, well... I guess it’s actually pretty good. If you don’t want to pay for a TD game the. This is the best one you have. You even get some pretty good items for the milestones of pre orders. The game came out at a pretty good time due to everyone staying inside on their phones, iPads etc.. So yeah that’s my rating. If you don’t care to read the whole thing basically this game is pretty good but there are some better ones. One thing that drives me crazy is heroes do not stay where you place them. They’ll chase enemies and never return to where you placed them. This is very annoying on multi-lane maps because they won’t stay at a choke point. I’ve had times I couldn’t locate my hero and he was in the grass off the lane altogether. I feel they should have a set range they defend and return to center when there is no enemies. It may be unintentional? But I’d gladly give 5 stars if this gets corrected.
