## What is Beastly Timer?

Free timer to make your interval training easier! No complicated setup, no confusing features - just a super easy timer so you can stop watching the clock and start crushing it together.
NEW: Custom Sounds! Record your own hype lines, cheers, or any sound and play them right in your workout. Round starts, rest, the final bell, it's your voice (or your squad's) pushing you through every rep. They even play over your music.
This is a hobby project made with love for anyone who loves working out with their friends. I wanted to keep it simple, fun, and free for everyone - no subscriptions, no paywalls, just a great little timer for you and your squad.
Download it, share it with your besties and unleash the beast within!

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.3 — 2026-07-02

Custom Sounds are here!
Record your own cheers and hype lines and assign them to your favorite moments - round starts, rest, the final bell. It's your voice powering beast mode, playing right over your music.
Refreshed the dark mode color palette for a cleaner, comfier look (and to make Tomi happy :) )

Made with love so now go crush it!

### 1.2 — 2026-06-27

What's New
Higher volume - Added an option to push the volume up even louder.
Audio ducking - The app now lowers its sound automatically so you can enjoy your favorite music while it plays.
Background playback - Music now keeps playing in the background while you use other apps.
Custom short timer - You can now set the timer to 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10 seconds. This one's for Karni, so he can do his 7-second finger exercises for climbing :)

### 1.1 — 2026-06-13

Dark mode toggle in Settings, fixed a bug with the completion screen showing multiple times, and added new post-workout quotes.

### 1.0 — 2026-05-31
