### 2/5 — Wrong times?

*2023-03-09*

Doesn’t seem to properly calculate timezones.

### 3/5 — Useful and accurate, but not perfect. (Broken Widgets)

*2023-12-17*

As a casual fan of “Swatch Internet Time”, I really appreciate apps like this one, that let me easily find out what time it is online, without needing to open a web browser. In my experience, it has been an accurate and reliable method of checking the time when I need to surf the net. That being said, I can’t say I give this app my full praise. My main criticism of this app is the fact that it’s widgets don’t seem to work. The purpose of the widgets. I briefly put this app’s widgets on my home and lock screen, so I could easily check the time on the internet, without even needing to open the app. However, I quickly discovered that these widgets, while accurate at time of placement, seemed to remain static, not updating as time passed, and quickly becoming inaccurate. This seems like a huge oversight, and while I was hopeful this would be patched in a not-too-distant update, said update has simply never come. I downloaded this app with the specific goal of placing internet time widgets on my home screen, so this came as a huge letdown to me. This isn’t my only criticism, a more minor issue I have with the app is that I can’t say I’m a fan of it’s design, which I find rather unappealing in it’s colour choices. However, I do recognise this is a “me issue”, and a matter of taste. You might find the aesthetics more favourable than I do, in which case, more power to you, I hope you enjoy what I fail to. But I still can’t help but feel a little dissatisfied with the appearance of this app. Overall, If you’re someone with an interest in Swatch’s Internet Time like myself, I would recommend this app to you. But I think these flaws are important to note, and I hope they get fixed sometime in the near future. I love the concept of Internet Time, and would love to see this app reach it’s full potential. But until then, I’ll simply have to accept the app’s flaws.

### 3/5 — Solid app, but missing widget support

*2021-12-13*

This is a solid app for tracking Internet Time (@Beats) and converting to hours and minutes, but the screenshots indicate it supports modern iOS widgets and it does not. Otherwise, it's a useful to, but not if you want to track @Beats on your Home Screen.

**Developer response:** Hi Zepfhyr,

Thanks for using BeatTime and for your comment. I am very surprise, the app supports modern Widget. Please contact me to see why you don’t have it.

### 4/5 — Nice, but can’t use with older watch

*2025-01-21*

I have an older Apple Watch that can’t be updated past watchOS v8.8.1. I’d really like to use beats on my watch. Could the devs please make it compatible?

### 4/5 — Alarms would be nice

*2024-01-10*

Love the app. It’s minimal and pretty. I would pay money to have an alarm function.

**Developer response:** Good news: now you can set alarm notifications!

### 4/5 — Widget is delayed

*2024-01-06*

The widget is always like 3 beats behind.

### 4/5 — Widgets need work

*2023-12-26, version 1.3*

App is great, but the colour choice does not appear to carry over to the widget (and is difficult to interpret in dark mode by default).

Converter is a nice addition.

### 4/5 — Great app, but problems with widgets

*2023-11-22, version 1.3*

App works perfectly and is simple to use. However, the widgets do not always update frequently enough, sometimes falling tens of beats behind the actual time. I imagine this an issue with Apple throttling widget updates rather than an app-specific problem.

### 4/5 — Decimal time

*2023-10-04, version 1.3*

The only part that is missing in the metric system is a decimal based time system. The beats are doing exactly that. I'm qhite happy that this app exists. I can use it as a widget and always think about a better universe, where I could live in with a decimal time system.

### 4/5 — Widget issue

*2022-12-24*

I like having an app and a widget that tells the time in beats, but there is an issue with the widget. It sometimes shows a few minutes behind.

**Developer response:** Indeed. That’s a limitation due to the way Apple Widget works.

## Most praised reviews (7 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Marche bien sur Apple Watch Ultra

*2025-08-14, version 2.2*

Merci bien!

### 5/5 — Beat is Best

*2025-04-28*

I have wanted this for ages and am so glad that this finally exists. Been obsessed with .beat time ever since my Phantasy Star Online days. Used to have a Pebble smartwatch that had a .beat time watch face and was sad there didn’t seem to be an equivalent when I made the switch to the Apple Watch. Thank you for bringing this joy back into my life!

### 5/5 — Very nice

*2024-05-04*

Thank you for this app! It would be great to have an apple watch version of it!

### 5/5 — Swatch Beat Time

*2024-04-01*

Love having this app. I don’t really need it, but Beat time was a cool innovation by Swatch Group and hope that one day it will be the universal global time.

### 5/5 — Beats

*2023-07-13*

Works exactly as indicated. If you are here, looking for this, you’ve found it. Surprising, I know.

### 5/5 — Keeping the dream alive!

*2023-05-04*

I know it will never happen. I realize the world as we know it cannot handle swatch @beat internet time. I feel like it’s the future and I’m thankful that developers like YOU keep the dream alive. Thanks for making the app and for widgetizing using it.

**Developer response:** Pleasure is mine. Thanks for your message !

### 5/5 — Cool !

*2021-06-02*

J’ai rien compris mais l’application fonctionne bien et elle a l’air cool.

Ce jeune développeur m’a l’air tout à fait prometteur !
