I thought this could be great, especially considering the ones given for free were. You couldn't beat $5 for 8 new drum kits, could you? Well, that's what I had thought at first too. Although there seems to be about one or two of the extra kits that are worth the $.99 each, this feels like a waste of money. The extra kits are either prerecorded loops of drums, 2 literal note kits (half steps of a synth bass), and more DJ sayings including "this is one DJ you don't want to f**k with." Although the original kits are of high quality, I was expecting the rest to be of that same quality, or at least be mostly drum kits instead of loops or soundbites. This has potential, it really does, but until I can see the price of $5 justifying soundbites and prerecorded loops, don't buy the in app purchases. I wish I read reviews of this application before I bought it, but there just weren't any explaining the in app purchases that I could see.
